These cords were TERRIBLE. I purchased them to use in my car based on the reviews. The first cord lasted about 2.5 months before it started glitching, meaning, in the middle of driving on a smooth stretch of road, the connection will suddenly be lost. OR it would just lose the connection when i was waiting at a light, whatever. It started to happen like every 2-3 minutes! I was really disappointed, but I thought, I have a couple more cords that came in the pack. I moved onto the next cord. That one did not work at all. I moved onto the the 3rd cord, which glitched after 1 day. I am now using the 4th and last cord in the pack, and I purchased them around 4 months ago. I expected more based on the reviews. If you are OK with them lasting 4 months, these are the cords for you.

I take it back. I shouldn't have singled out this product over the others. This particular cord is not of especially poor quality. They ALL are. Look down the list. They all show 4 and a half stars. The complaints are the same across the board. The cords work for a few months or a year, and then one by one, stop working. So it's a toss-up. Might as well buy the cheapest. None of them appear to be better than the others. Just plan on buying new cords every year or so.

Only two cords were functioning... big waste of money

The most frustrating thing about Iphone cable is the lack of durability. So, you end up having have to buy so many of them because they are fragile. This cable is tough. I don't see how it can go wrong for a long long time. Some cables can use it for charging but not transferring data. This one works just fine. Reliability is the key.

These seemed to work ok in the beginning. I have been using them for 3 months. However, prior to this week, I only used them to charge my phone. It charged slowly, but for overnight charging, it worked fine. This week, I have tried to charge my iPad a handful of times. It charges unbelievably slow. Worse yet, it will not charge the iPad if also using the iPad, the indicator shows the batter is "charging" but the battery power continues to decrease. It decreases much slower than if it were not plugged in, but it does not charge the battery, it just slows down the draining of the battery.

There is no question about it. These chords were a great investment. At first, I thought that packaging a 3 foot cable was just useless. However the 3 foot cable works perfectly in my car. All of the cables have a high quality look and feel.I spent hours searching for the best cable for the money. I must have read a hundred reviews. I found cheaper cables but I am looking for durability and and high quality. These cables are so good that I am ordering another set today to use at my office today.

I bought these about 4 months ago. Love having the varying lengths. Everything seemed to be going great until a couple weeks ago. The connector covering on one of them came loose, so I would have to plug the charger in using the cord to make sure it got in all the way. I got tired of doing that so put some glue back on it to hold it in place and now it won't charge at all. I hope it's just a one off problem and not consistent with the rest.Update 6/29/2020 I had another cable stop inexplicably over the weekend. Nothing looks wrong with the cable but it just doesn't charge the device.Update 11/11/2020 down to only two working cables, the others just stopped working. One makes the device think it's charging but doesn't actually charge.

A good costs basis for a quick docking station using a Thunderbolt connection. This unit has a bit of trouble recognizing my wireless keyboard and mouse. It could be that my UBS connection is not compatible but I'm not technically proficient to determine why it sometimes works and sometimes does not. I assumed a newer keyboard and mouse might be the cure. The rest of the peripherals work very well. I'm using a dual monitor system, new HP laptop, speakers and webcam with the aforementioned wireless keyboard and mouse. The unit does get warm to the touch. Not hot, but warm. Cord length is short but works. Bottom line it does work for me with about 80% connectivity with that keyboard and mouse.
