Car Fuel Cap, Car Fuel Filler Tank Covers Fuel Petrol Cap Black for A-Class 1997-2004; C-Class 1993-2000

I'd accidentally left my filler cap at a filling station so needed a new one, pronto. Ordered Friday afternoon, delivered Saturday morning. Perfect fit. Exactly what I needed.

During lockdown at some point my fuel cap was stolen from my car whilst it was parked on the drive. I only discovered this when I went to fill up and was like where's the fuel cap. Luckily the garage had a temporary fuel cap which was ok but not quite as good as the original. I then ordered an original from the local car spares place in town and was told it was the right one for the vehicle. When it arrived I found out it just didn't fit the car at all (and that was £18 worth of fuel cap!!) - I then saw this one on Amazon and thought what the heck I'll give it a go, can't be any worse than the one from the local car spares place that wouldn't fit at all. This one went in and locked in place perfectly and it was far cheaper than the one sold to me by the motor spares place - wish I'd gone to Amazon in the first place!

I ordered the wrong cap needed one for a van but it still just about fit

Quite stiff to get on and off

Good when it arrived but fell apart 3 weeks after fitting, only touched it twice and fitting fell into 2 pieces. Buy cheap, buy twice unfortunatley
