By picturing the "chair" with the frame - for some reason I believed that the frame came with the chair. My daughter thought the same thing as the package showed the frame as well. Chair being discontinued, frame pictured but not shown anywhere separately, the frame not clearly stating that it was sold separately - yeah both myself and my daughter thought the frame came with the chair. The frame was nowhere to be found and when I did find it, for $200 I could get a chair with it and it came from another company.I went for that ploy about being "eco friendly" but we wanted to use it inside the house on a frame that could be moved outside when needed, not destroy a military rental unit by drilling into the ceiling studs. It was to be a gift for a child as a "safe" quiet time place, but that didn't happen.I ended up purchasing a freaking metal porch swing frame that now will be permanently an inside piece of furniture. How's that sound: "I decorate in early patio" We will make it work, but I don't appreciate being fooled when the other frames for this same chair are all "trailer hitch" camping things.I am just saying I am and my daughter is very disappointed - theoretically speaking, this was a good idea that has gone very wrong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soooo comfortable *by I***I on Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2012* I love this chair for it's comfort, preferring it to the other type that has the bar in front. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars from me is the material it's made of--sadly not 100% cotton, so somewhat scratchy--but I suppose more durable and water resistant. The beverage holder is pretty useless unless except for beer or canned sodas but having a side chair next to it renders that issue moot. Everyone who has sat in it has asked where I got it so I'm guessing my assertion as to it's comfort is pretty accurate. I had to buy the frame because it would not hang where I wanted it on my porch so I don't know whether it works as well without the X-stand. I like the flexibility of being able to move it around with the seasons/sun. I just wish it had been available in some cooler, earth-tone colors besides camoflage. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I really wanted to love this chair but I don't *by W***M on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2013* I love Green Eggs and Hammocks products I have the X-Chair with the original string seat which was amazing! Sadly my cats destroyed the string seat and it seems to be impossible to get another. I saw the good reviews on this chair and heard it would work with my x-chair frame so I got it. In order to have it shipped to Canada you pretty much end up paying double once you factor in shipping and duty so I was really hoping for something great. We were disappointed. It's ok but it's nowhere near as comfortable as the string kind. Both my husband and I find that the base edge of the chair hits our thighs in a really strange place that just isn't comfortable. You can off set that effect by using the foot rest but only if you keep your knees bent and your feet pulled in.
