You get what you pay for!
I was looking for a sisal bath mitt like the one I received in a toiletry basket in a European hotel (and sadly, left behind). I ordered this one; it arrived quickly, but on first use, lost a large chunk of fibers. On subsequent uses, the shedding continued (making be worry about this stuff in my drains), and worse, it seems to be pulling out especially on the inside, so wearing it is kind of like grasping a tarantula...very creepy feel.

Don't waste your money on this
Don't waste your money on this. I am not even going to give this try. Lesson learned. Bought a Sisal bath mitt in London at Boot's Pharmacy while on business back in 2008. It was an excellent mitt, but they apparently stopped making it. At least I cannot find it. The Elizabeth Spa is a very good Sisal bath mitt, although small in size. The Elizabeth Spa will not fit a large size hand. It appears that Elizabeth Spa has stopped making their Sisal bath mitt as well. Cannot order it on Amazon. Very disappointed. If anyone knows of a really good Sisal bath mitt please post. RW

Great product
Unlike alot of 'bath sponges' this sisal mitt dries quickly and eliminating possible mold buildup. It is invigorating but not abrasive on the body. You can pour body wash on it or slip a bar of soap inside the mitt once its wet and just scrub all over. I would not suggest this for younger children, its too rough for a child's skin.

Unravelled after 3 uses
The strands of the mitt unravelled after 3 uses in the shower, it became useless and I had to throw it out.
