Sets the standard for windscreen coatings. Easy to use and lasts. The abrasive compound strips the glass back to a clean surface. Make sure that the glass is completely dry and there won’t be any condensation or rain before applying the coating.

Absolutely amazing stuff. Be prepared in every way though, be prepared to spend a couple of hours completing this project as there is some work involved in getting a perfect finish. Before you start, this is my advice. Make sure you have a brand new bucket or a very clean one, a small step and know how to put your windscreen wipers into service mode if need be. 1. Wash windscreen and or windows with a PH neutral shampoo 2. Clean windows with water 3. Whilst wet, use the compound applicator in a swirly pattern going up and down 4. Then go side to side from top down, do this in sections. This ensures all contaminants are removed 5. You do not want the compound to dry fully, whilst wet rinse off with clean water 6. Wait for it to dry, if you see smears on the outside, the compound is still stuck to the window, use water and a clean sponge to wipe it off ensuring you do not wipe the compound onto your paintwork. 7. Make sure to clean your windscreen wipers too, you can also use the compound on them. 8. Once dry, if everything is nice and clean, you can then apply the Ultra Before doing the ultra, make sure you are out of direct sunlight. This will speed up the curing times and make it difficult to get a nice even finish. Also, if it is below 10 degrees outside, put your windscreen heaters on half way at around 15 degrees or so. Do not put ultra on unless the windows are 100% dry. You will end up with streaks where the ultra has been thinned out by any water. 8. You do not need to squeeze the bottle the entire time, only a thin layer is required. Just make sure you do the circular motion up and down and then side to side. 9. Split the windscreen into 2 or 3 sections to make it easier to finish. 10. Do the same for the windscreen wipers 11. After about 10 minutes you wipe off with the clean micro fiber cloth I have done around 4 cars now, they have all turned out to be perfect. I had a slight issue with a newer car as the windscreen wipers had bad judder. I chose to clean the windscreen wipers themselves and apply the Ultra to them too, hey presto, no more judder The point of cleaning with a PH neutral shampoo is to not have any impact on the ultra. The compound is a very light abrasive that will remove debris and contaminants from your window hence the need to be extra careful around paintwork and or plastic and rubbers as it may leave a matt finish or marks. You will feel the difference from when you start and finish with the compound as the pad will just slide over it. Have a small step ready if you have a larger SUV type car, if you are doing the windscreen and front windows, then do both the front windows first and the windscreen last. This gives you enough time to work without rushing. You should be hearing a satisfying squeak when using the Ultra if you have cleaned and prepped the car properly. Then just pray it doesn't rain for the next 12 hours! In terms of how it performs, it almost feels like your in a vortex when driving at certain speeds as the water just beads up and over the windscreen, you will not need to use your windscreen wipers either. Plus the windows after a week look just as clear as when I cleaned them. One other thing is that it seems to help reduce how much frost forms on them as I have not needed to defrost my windows, it fogs them up on the outside instead.

This product is ace! Simple instructions to follow for a complete novice like me. And the incredible joy of driving in the rain and watching the water just bead up and off the windscreen. The little things in life. Would 100% recommend this. Well worth the investment. Ditch the glass cleaners ! This is the only thing you’ll ever need.

When you apply it, it work incredibly well however within a month is nearly fully gone which is a shame because of how well it works.

Does the job. Great beading. Prep is everything. Will strip what’s there before properly ready for the main event. Ensure u wash the wipers properly. No one things of doing this. Or change them if necessary. They don’t have an infinite life.

Expensive stuff, but I like a clean windscreen especially when undertaking long journeys (1500 miles) and it's brilliant.

It does work, but doesn't last long, a couple of weeks maybe. It can be difficult to remove. RainX or Auto glym does the job for a quarter of the price.

Ideal für alle, die bei ihrem Fahrzeug Wert auf einen klaren Durchblick legen. Die Anwendung des Glaco Scheibenreinigers ist wirklich einfach. Nach einer kurzen Recherche auf YouTube habe ich mich dazu entschieden, die Frontscheibe zunächst mit einem handelsüblichen Glasreiniger gründlich zu reinigen und anschließend leicht mit Wasser zu benebeln. Dadurch lässt sich das Filzpad deutlich leichter über die Scheibe führen. Die Politur lässt sich relativ einfach verarbeiten. Sobald sich ein gleichmäßiger Gleitfilm gebildet hat, kann die Scheibe bereits wieder abgewaschen werden. Eventuell verbleibende Politurreste lassen sich anschließend problemlos von Hand entfernen. Nach dem Trocknen ist die Scheibe wieder schön klar und optimal für die Glaco-Versiegelung vorbereitet. Auch die Versiegelung selbst lässt sich sehr einfach auftragen. Nach einer kurzen Ablüftzeit von etwa 5 Minuten kann sie bereits mit einem sauberen Mikrofasertuch abgetragen werden. Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen: Wasser perlt sehr schön von der Scheibe ab und verbessert meiner Meinung nach gerade bei Regen die Sicht deutlich. Dadurch empfinde ich die Anwendung nicht nur als praktisch, sondern auch als einen kleinen Beitrag zu mehr Fahrsicherheit. Insgesamt ein einfach anzuwendendes Produkt mit überzeugendem Ergebnis. Klare Empfehlung!
