Is there a limit switch on the retract side? i would like to wire it to use auto return. thanks,

Yes, there are limit switches for extending and retracting. It is recommended that you use ECO actuator controller to achieve automatic return function

For the 10” stroke version, what are total extended and retracted lengths, including the brackets?

Its total extended length is about 24.5inch ,and retracted length is about 14.5inch ,the brackets are included.

I got mine new, wired up to 12 20 amp supply, will not turn, if limit switch on both end how to turn on the motor ?

There’s two wires a positive and negative. Hook to a 12v battery and it should move . Reverse the wires and it should move the other way. You will have to get a on/off/on switch to operate.

Why does my actuator stop actuating and start pulsing?

Mine is doing the same thing. It worked fine for a few days, now it starts starts pulsing and eventually stops moving altogether. If I let it sit for 15 minutes it works fine for about 4 inches, then it starts pulsing off and on.
