This product is a part of an intensive skin-clearing arsenal I've put together with supplements! I will explain it all below: I used to consistently get breakouts or problem acne when I would consume soft dairy (cream cheese is my weakness, but ice cream, milk, yoghurt, etc.) I found when I cut all those out, my skin went back to smooth, relatively clear skin. The problem is, I'm a bodybuilder and need to take whey protein, which is dairy. I can't stand pea protein or vegan protein and also I FRIGGIN LOVE CREAM CHEESE. So I set out to remedy the problem with supplements, cause- bro science, amirite? Finding through research: -Acne (hormonal aside) is commonly caused by a deficiency in vitamins A, C, & E (ahem, this product). You can stop there, but for the dairy issue, keep reading! -Dairy is known to ramp up the metabolism causing a drop in the levels in your body that regulate sebum production. I read some articles that beef liver helps with skin and energy (bonus!). I added Desiccated Undefatted Beef Liver Tablets (link below) for protein and vitamin A (read up on the benefits of beef liver, seriously). Also for dairy, I got a probiotic with the probiotic strains: Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus. My skin has never been better aside from the occasional breakout before my period (no getting away from that!). BUT if you have hormonal acne also... I also used to suffer severely from hormone imbalances which is the cause of hormonal acne, not including the inevitable PMS acne, which should really only be a pimple or two. Two years ago, I began taking "DIM" supplements to help regulate my hormones. Not only did it eliminate my acne around my chin (almost always hormonal) but my periods are ON THE DOT every 28 days now. If that's not balanced hormones, idk what is.
