Key programming
2017 Honda Civic EX. We lost all keys. Ordered this as a replacement to save money. The locksmith was not able to program the key. They could get it to lock and unlock the doors but then would get an error message that programming failed/error and the alarm wouldn't shut off. We took out the horn's fuse to silence the alarm. We had to tow the car to the Honda dealer service center and they programmed it for a fee. Key works great now.

Works great!
Worked great for my 2017 civic, needs to be programmed which I was able to do myself. Once programmed it works great! Saved me 250$ and 2hrs from the dealer quote.

Programmed a key using Autel MT808BT: 2018 Honda CR-V EX Model. Broke after 2 years and 2 months.
I was very hesitant purchasing this smart key but the dealership cost was just too much at $250-$400. In terms of the quality of the key, the only major difference between the original key and this key is that on the back, the original key has a Honda logo. Also, the font size on the 'Hold' is little smaller. But overall in terms of the weight and the feel, it looks very similar. In my opinion, the plastic casing feels very solid just like the original Honda key. First time programming a key, but few days ago I purchased the Autel MT808BT bi-directional scanner. By using the scanner, it literally took me few minutes and did not run into any issues. I'm not sure whether I'm going to get my keys cut. There are several Youtube videos out there using Autel bi-directional scanner. Update: Key fob lasted exactly 2 years. No power so changed to new battery. Still no power.

Fully functional
It did cost me $150 to get the key programmed but I still spent less than going to the dealer. I do believe I was over charged on the programming so do your research on locksmiths near you

Did not work-garbage
I order this bc it said it’s for my 2018 honda civic and when I had the locks guy come out I was wondering why it was taking so long to program it and it’s bc it was not for a civic it was actually for a Acura such a waste and I still had to pay the guy a service fee for coming out and still back to square 1 and have to return this mess

Replacement Keyfob Works Great!
Lost one of the keyfobs to our 2016 Honda Civic. This OEM replacement was much less than if we had purchased it thru a dealership even after paying the local locksmith's fee to match it to our Civic.

A Good buy
So I had to get another key and didnt want to pay honda 250 buck for it. Then the other keys were returned to me. So i have 4 keys. This key worked and the Honda dealer said all keys were factory. Hidden key is hard to get out, but it programmed and functions.
