Sturdy, well made, and easy to adjust. It made making a large number of pancakes easy and less messy vs using a jug and ladle. Very happy with my purchase.

Bad news first--this squeaks a lot, which gets a bit annoying after a while. Some food grade silicone lube will reduce the noise, but not entirely eliminate it. Minus a star for that. But other than that, it's fast and accurate. I have 4 of these, and I use them pretty regularly. I see a lot of reviews insisting that these aren't accurate or they leak or any number of other issues. It sounds like those folks went in with a very unrealistic expectation. This is a commercial device. Like most other commercial devices, it doesn't just seamlessly plug into your home cooking practices. Commercial recipes are formulated for an entire process, which includes the equipment being used. In the case of this batter dispenser, it works for batter of a certain consistency. Too thin and it will leak. Too thick and it won't flow fast enough to fill the dropper before the plunger closes it off. I've had to reformulate my recipes for cakes, waffles, pancakes, etc. in order to make them work correctly with this dispenser, but it's worth it because of the time savings. In most cases, this is just a matter of adding a bit of extra liquid, plus a little xanthan gum and either modified starch or corn starch, depending if I'm trying to thin or thicken the batter. Bottom line is, if you're going to buy this to make your pancakes, waffles and cakes more easily, spend the time to formulate your recipe so it works with both this dispenser and the cooking equipment you're using. And if you're looking for something that will handle thinner or thicker batter, there are other types of dispensers designed for those uses. Make sure you're using the right tool and the right process and you'll get great results.

Very sturdy and built well . Upper piston is made stronger and won’t bend over time unlike other dispensers I’ve had before . I would always have to bend back into place but this one looks and feels more durable ! Would definitely buy a second one . Definitely needed for my restaurant when I have multiple batters

I liked it but one piece broke off of the removable plunger mechanism and now I can’t use it. I would love to get a replacement part instead of buying the whole thing. We bought this just over 6 months ago.
