Just what I was looking for.

These charging cables work just as well as Apple’s expensive charging cable. My family and I have been using these cables since January 2020 and have gotten great use out of them in our cars and in our home the past two years. These cables are very strong, and they charge just as fast as Apple’s cables; however, i do have one great warning for you if you do purchase this item:The metal piece on the lightning end of the cable (that goes into the iOS device) will eventually break off from wear and tear (see my photos) while you are charging and it will get stuck inside your iOS device’s charging port creating a blockage so that you cannot plug in another cable to charge your device . Over the past two years, two separate times, we’ve had one of them break off while it is was plugged into our iOS device, and that little piece gets stuck inside the charging port making it extremely difficult to get out. You will have to use a sewing needle or something stronger to break it and take it out. It’s terrifying when it happens. We currently have one stuck in one of our iPads which prompted me to write this review. This is the 3rd time it’s happened and each time was one of these cables! Thus, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Use these cables with great caution. I am personally going back to Apple charging cables as I have never had one break on me like these do. I’ve had other 3rd party charging cables do the exact same thing - they break on their lightning end. Another solution is to buy newest generation iPads that no longer use these specific lightning-charging cables; instead they use the much better USB-C type. Well, I wish the best of God’s providence in choosing the right cable for your charging needs. I highly recommend using Apple and only Apple’s charging cables.

Needed more i-phone cables so I can have then around the house where I plug in the phone ie bedroom / recliner / car etc , these work OK and seem durable

These braided cables are much sturdier than the plastic coated cables and should be resistant to cracking as the cable ages or fraying with use. I ordered a set of these about 2 years ago and they were used within the home, and seldom removed from the 4-port desktop USB chargers located in the bedrooms. A fourth cable is used when traveling.This recent order was made because the two (2) original bedroom cables no longer provided a stable charge or could not charge the devices and needed replacement. The “travel” cable has not had much use since COVID has limited extensive travel. It remains coiled. And Working!The purchase price is fair and these cables do have value.
