The second was a set that promised they would fit over the ear, but the cups were far too small for that to work. These were less than half the price of the second pair, and they work really well as faqr as I'm concerned. I can hear deep bass notes from game SFX that had never been perceptible from my regular speakers, and the foam cups provide a good enough seal against my head that the noises around me don't intrude at all. (That said, don't even think about wearing these while driving! That would be a really bad idea!)
