Purchased this for a surprise party for a HUGE John Wayne fan. BIG HIT! I don't think it's really worth what I paid, but it is "The Duke". I know the color fades after being in the sun is only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

One of the best purchases I've ever made! Got this for my grandmother's 90th birthday celebration. Theme was Cowboy's Sweetheart. She LOVED it! It was worth Everyone wanted their picture with the Duke! It's life-sized, easy to assemble and fold back up. We leave him up all the time. He stands at the front door and greets our guests. Everyone smiles when they see him. Worth every nickel!

Our neighbor was on Hospice, his birthday was coming but we didn't know how long he would still be with us. He loves westerns and John Wayne is his all time favorite! So we gave this to him a week before his birthday. He absolutely loved it!! His wife caught him talking to "John" one day. Sad to say we lost our friend on his birthday, so we were happy and bitter sweet that we gave it to him early! We miss him!!♥

I bought this for my Dad who has Alzheimer's and just moved to a new state, new nursing home and needed something both funny and familiar to spice up his new room. Let me say I had so much fun with this before I even took it into Dad's room. LOL I called him Flat Johhny (much like a life size version of Flat Stanley) and I kept moving him around my house and taking pictures....this entertained me and a large following on Facebook for a couple weeks! haha! You may get an influx of orders for Johnny and James Dean thanks to my comedic advertising. I am considering ordering another since Flat Johnny finally went on to his permanent home with my Dad yesterday =)

Can't tell you how many times Mr Wayne has been mistaken for someone lurking in our basement, lol. Easy to stand, cause its built right into the back of the cut out. The quality is really quite good. Actual height of John Wayne. Comes with a autograph, pilgrim. My husband is a huge fan and was delighted when he opened it. I now get texts that start with "John spilled coffee".

It's awsome he stands guard in my house.
