I listen to music and watch movies with Sennheiser 599 SE headphones. I've been connecting those using a coiled cable I bought over 10 years ago. Noticed recently that the sound seemed to jump in/out in one of the ears and decided it was time to try a new cable, so I ordered this MillSO cable. The cable arrived nicely packaged, and the materials had a high-quality feel on unpacking. Cable was supple, and connectors looked very nice. When I connected the headphones, the connector had a very nice, snug grip and the male end of the cable had a nice snug fit into my A/V box. Then I turned on the sound...wow! I was amazed at how much better my headphones sounded with this new cable. Being sure that I was probably just imagining, I switched back to the old cable, then back to the new cable. No question, sound was significantly better with the new cable. I know part of that was how bad the old cable was, but some of it has to be because of how good the new cable is. The manufacturer (MillSO) followed up with an email to make sure I got everything ok, and offered an 18-month extended warranty at no additional cost. I'm very pleased with this cable, highly recommend it. Just wish I had gotten it sooner!

This was my fourth 1/4”- to-1/8” adapter. The first three all had noisy/loose contacts — if I touched the connection, the signal would crackle or cut out. This one is the first that holds a solid connection. It’s $1–$2 more, but after wasting time returning the others, it’s worth it. Recommended.

It is what it is. I wanted to try and use it for a guitar input into my phone. I didn't work for that, heads up to all fellow guitarists. It is simply a headphone jack/adapter for 7 bucks. Not a very good value when you can buy it much cheaper. However, it is built well. I'm gonna keep it, but if you read this as a fellow musician, don't see it as a something else than it is ; ) As a matter of fact, i had a similar plug at home without the little extension. Dang it. Anyway, value for money is 4 stars ; )

I recently decided I wanted to have a different rig for Worship. I was using my Line 6 Helix, but I wanted to see if I could change it up, and use a "tiny" amp and use a "real" rig with all my expensive real pedals (you spend all that money, you wanna use it! lol). The only issue I had was the Worship setting, I couldn't mic a cab, so I needed to get a Cab Box (which I did, with IR loader, amazing!), as be able to output that to front of house. The only issue was the cable I ordered to split the 3.5mm line out "headphone" jack to XLR, was a 1/4" jack instead... oops! lol Let me tell ya though, this adapter unit delivers in spades! It sounds great, no hum, no hiss, nothing, and it's PERFECT! You need something like this? Don't hesitate to buy this brand, they stand behind it, and it's solid, and built with metal, so it's good for the road too! You won't be disappointed, I will be buying more for other rigs, you can believe that!

We have a "vintage" pair of headphones with only a 1/4 inch plug. Most things today seem to have adopted the 3.5 mm jack (the "1/8 inch" designation is a holdover from history; 1/8 inch is 3.175 mm). The MiLLSO adapter performs exactly as expected. The 1/4 inch jack holds the plug solidly, and the 3.5 mm plug fits its jack perfectly. The cable between jack and plug is nice for our application, though some might prefer a solid unit. Recommended.

UPDATE: Their customer service contacted me promptly to offer a full refund or replacement product since mine wasn't working. I had already purchased new headphones, so I opted to take the refund. They're customer service was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. It sucks that the product didn't work out for me, but it's always nice to see a company care so much about customer satisfaction and resolving issues promptly. Sound quality isn’t great, and they don’t want to play in stereo. They’ll work for a few seconds when I first plug them in, but then audio goes to only one side. Really disappointed.

Brilliant piece of kit! Really robust and much better than the single adaptors that put stress on the port at the laptop end. With this there is less worry that connection will be lost at either the headphone end or the laptop, so the sound quality is excellent. Good value for money!
