Good price and a good set.
Been a few years since I last played chess but decided to get back into it now I've retired.After digging out my old chess board, I decided it needed replacing.This set took my eye, and at the price, I thought it was worth a look. Not disappointed. Well made, a decent size, and with all the pieces stored within the folding board, it's easy and convenient to transport.Highly recommend to anyone looking for either a new or replacement chess board.

Great quality chess board
A very good quality chess board and pieces. I got this for my Dad's birthday and was surprised how nice it was. I was a bit worried about it being a folding one, but the quality of the inserts keeps the pieces in place. Great value for money. Would make a great gift for someone . Thanks again for a great chess set.

Very delicate and cheap looking item
I’m not sure if other people here received fantastic item or if they have tried many other similar items and stuck on to this, because of the reviews here I went on to purchase this item.The item I received was not up to the mark This item is too fragile for the price, and I don’t see this lasting for long, the wooden material will easily have Ingress and also the link connecting the two foldable wood is too delicate, given the price I would expect to have gotten an item that is robust and has rich feel but material used is cheap wood but selling price is too over it’s quality

A fine set
The price is very good, but it's not an obviously cheap product.The pieces are well balanced with a reasonable level of detailing. They feel good in the hand. The board is well made and handy as storage for the pieces.I was not looking for a set to display or for something top end, but a set to use every day. This fits the bill.

Excellent as a foldaway or travel set
The figures are very good quality and are well made and it folded away well and all the pieces strap in so don’t get lost or damaged. Only small downside is if you would like to leave the board set up as display you can tell its a fold away but I guess it is in the title fold away set

Looks good
This was a present for my grandson and he loves it. It is well made and certainly looks good. It conveniently folds up as well so doesn't take up much room when transporting it. Very satisfied, thank you

Replacement set
I have previously written a review saying that I was unhappy with the chess set I received.I am pleased to say that I have received a replacement set, which is in perfect condition and I am very happy with and would recommend.

value for money
pretty good quality for the price, pieces are a bit too light and are easily knocked over. Board is nice, very good as a starter set
