Really nice very warm S14 LED bulb!
I tried 6 different types of very warm LED filament bulbs of various shapes purchased from Amazon. I evaluated at minimum two bulbs of each type. All of the types are decent, though some stand out in various ways. One thing I search for is a smallish LED filament type bulb that produces a slightly pinkish tint compared to an incandescent light bulb dimmed to the same color temperature (i.e. one having a white point lying slightly below the black body locust instead of the more usual slightly above, in the yellow-green range.) Unfortunately none of the ones I've tried so far satisfy my search like I had hoped, though some lack a noticeable yellow tint. (Note that I am talking about an exaggerated yellow-green tint; all bulbs in this color temperature range tend to look yellowish, but that discussion is outside the scope of this review.)This Newpow S14 bulb has two straight LED filaments inside an untinted S14 glass bulb (a small vaguely pear-shaped bulb with a standard E26 base). My copies draw around 1.5W apiece, coming in right at their rated power! They stay only very slightly warm, even when lit at full intensity for hours. I had no problems with dimmability using a tabletop credenza dimmer running several other dimmable bulbs at the same time. (Of course all dimmable LED bulb types tend to have slightly different dimmer curves than one another so they don’t all dim together perfectly.)This is an interesting bulb! They are right around 2200K. They run a bit above the Planckian Locust (Black Body Locust or Line) such that they have a slightly yellow-green tint. It's actually almost a champagne white tint, very nice for certain applications! Unlike bulbs that are called champagne, these are also rich in deep red, and show colors well (within the limits of such a warm color temperature of course!) I do not possess instrumentation to precisely measure CRI numerically, but these are higher than typical CRI. They have noticeably more deep red than typical similar-CCT bulbs that are in the lower 80 CRI range, even those with a slightly pinkish tint. The deep red to white ratio usually predicts a phosphor converted white LED bulb's general CRI reasonably accurately in my experience, even when the tint is slightly green/yellowish. So my verdict is that these are likely >=90 CRI as claimed.I haven't tried to discern the lumen output, but I have no trouble believing these are close to the claimed 120.I can't even begin to speak to lifespan ratings, as I haven't operated any of this bulb type for more than a few hours so far.I'm not sure what a rating of "thickness" would signify, so I didn't rate it.

Let's shed some light on the subject.
Not much to say, they're light bulbs. They are the shape that was desired, they're light output satisfactory and I would buy them again when needed.

Stop looking for warm LED bulbs and buy these!
My wife and I had some bad luck with replacement bulbs…until now! We tried a plastic bulb LED from another vendor which had water collect in them from how they attach it to the base. These glass bulbs eliminate that possibility.Pros: This color is just fantastic. They are at 2200K which puts it a tad above candlelight color. Historically, LED usually looks like one color up from what it’s labeled, and these are perfect. The packaging is just absolutely genius and I would guess there is NO way to break a bulb in shipping. It really should be the standard for packaging glass bulbs, well done.Cons: None that I can think of unless we get the dreaded water problem, but I am highly doubtful of it happening. We will see and I can update if something happens. We highly recommend this product!

Very nice LED upgrade
I want to start by saying I DO NOT like LED bulbs at all. I think they are harsh and glare way to much. I much prefer the nice warm lite of an incandescent bulb. With that said I will say these are a very nice compromise. They do not glare very much but do a little. No way to avoid that with LED. The color is nice and warm and they generally look very nice. They do not dim as much as an incandescent but not bad and acceptable. The 1.5 watts is a huge plus compared to 11 watts. I have two 24 bulb sets on my deck. That is 528 watts reduced to 72. At 50% it is 264 reduced to 36. That us huge. All in all a nice bulb and a reasonably priced.

Great replacement bulbs
Bought string lights but didn't realize the bulbs were a bright white and lit up my backyard in a very odd looking color that I did not like. Bought these bulbs and are perfect! Brighter and dimmable make them perfect! Typically use the lights as a light dim night light so I can see, then can turn them on full blast and can see everything and work outdoors. Great replacement bulbs.

Perfect Replacements!
These bulbs were worth every penny to replace a half dozen that broke on our strings from a Texas hail storm. So happy we found these. They match our others that are working just perfectly! And, now we have a few spares for future hail storms …haha.

Don't believe everything you read.
I was gifted a set of non-dimmable string lights and decided that dimming would be nice. I search the endlessly similar ads for bulbs by vendors with names only a 3-year-old could contrive. I find one I think I can pronounce with a description that has promise (minimal grammatical flaws) . Nice box, safely packed, clean design and consistent quality, but, the proof in in the pudding. Let's plug'm in...Let's recall the advertising: "Wide dimming range 10-100%, built-in smooth dimming chip, the light will not flash and lasting stability, compatible with most dimmer switches on the market."And, the pitch: "Frequently Bought Together": These Newpow bulbs AND a Kasa HS220 Smart Dimmer Switch. You'd have to agree that this is an invitation for the consumer to explore other Kasa smart switch products... and, this consumer did.I find just what I need in a Kasa KP405 Smart Dimmer Switch for outdoor use (Kasa/TP-Link products are of the highest quality, IMHO). I replace my non-dimmable bulbs, plug in the dimmer, set up the Kasa app, pray. The bulbs flicker (> 50% brightness). I inquire with Amazon which refers me to Newpow (CS by email only). The Newpow response:"It is recommended that you use our NEWPOW dimmer to match it. Please search for "B07S4KBDNT" on Amazon."Translation: We lied.Of the "most dimmers" available today, I'd naturally avoid: GE, Kasa, Lutron, Leviton, WeMo, Philips, Square-D... Well, you get it.
