A good length needle for larger items. Nicely packaged in individual sleeves and good quality.

Wife and I trying knitting and wanted to get a set of needles so we can try any projects that we see without buying more needles. Since we're new to the hobby we wanted something cheap in case we didn't carry on and wanted a few of the accessories that came with the set. The good: * These needles aren't as smooth as your traditional metal needles, nor are they as heavy. I'm not sure how needles are normally made but I think most metal ones are cast and therefore feel solid all the way through, whereas these feel like a sheet of metal rolled into a cylinder and therefore hollow. Don't know if that's true, but that's certainly how they feel. Being less smooth means that when you're new like me, you'll probably find that it's slightly harder to drop stitches (I have some smoother needles and stuff slides around a lot more on them). They're also easy to hold thanks to their weight. * Plenty of actually useful accessories with them. Don't get me wrong - they're cheap and don't feel particularly high quality, but they work. * Unquestionably good value for money. At less than £1 per pair at the time I bought, you just can't beat that price. The bad: * The feel. While I am happy with how they feel, the wife hates them. I prefer them to the bamboo ones we got in a magazine (so probably not exactly great needles, admittedly) but the wife far prefers traditional metal needles. * Rather ugly. Knitting needles aren't exactly fashion accessories so their looks don't really matter but they really are on the uglier end of things. You shouldn't really care about that as they're tools, but it might bother some folk so I thought I'd mention it. The needles themselves have a slightly brushed-steel look which is rather nice by itself but the ends where it tells you the size and stops the stitches sliding off backwards let the design down.

The needles are light but sturdy and good quality, very smooth. Each pair came in individual packs and they were all contained in a storage bag which makes it convenient to carry with you when travelling. Good range of sizes. I like the accompanying accessories, too: again, good quality and quite useful. It makes this set complete so that you are ready to go and handle a project from A to Z. Perfect for beginners but also for experienced knitters (my mum loved this set). Great price. So far I have not had any issue, I am really satisfied.

perfect length,wonderfully smooth to knit with ,this is my second set but longer length,after many years knitting on plastic.bamboo or old metal kneedles,i would buy these again if ever i lost them,and no more squeaky knitting.

ideal for first time knitters or experts who need some new needles. they are nice to knit with having an easy grip surface but also slide into the wool nice and easy also. they come in a nice pinky purple tie top bag which is great for storage and they are also individually pair packed in reusable plastic cases to keep them in order. the other bonus is the handy little extras a tape measure, some handy stitch holder safety pins for cable and such and a good selection of various sized sewing needles for stitching your projects together, they have a good sized eye making them easy to thread and also seem to be really so sturdy they should last forever. they come in a handy test tube like tub which is handy as it has room for more needles to kee them tidy and find-able if you have a stash already like me! I would recommend this set of knitting needles it is a real bargain at just double the price I paid for my last set of needles which the end came loose on and was the reason for this purchase.

I don’t normally give reviews much for thing I buy on Amazon I usually like almost everything I bought so far I only give reviews with items that really really caught me by surprise this set for the price is a really great deal such great quality for the price I definitely wasn’t expecting this set to be so great and it really is take the chance and buy this set u won’t be disappointed at all. At first when I opened the package and took the needles out they were very light and they seemed like as if they were made of cheap plastic and I was already saying bummer u get what u paid for but when I took them out and felt and heard they are metal when the clicked I said oooh ok let’s try it not only are they stainless steel but there pretty well made for the price like almost to good to be true but it is and they knit really nicely for anyone who likes and nice slick surface but but not to slick but slick then these are for u I can promise u that u will not be disappointed for that great price it’s a great buy for sure and u don’t just get the needles but u also get great quality accessories that comes with it tap measure,stainless steel large eye darning needles that are nicely backed in the storing tube,locking plastic stitch markers! It’s great for gifts I’m planning on getting more sets and don’t hesitate get this set now because it will probably sell out it’s so great for the deal.
