great clippers that really offer much higher order of cutting ability compared to traditional sprung metal clippers. No great force is required to cut off chunks from my largest & thickest nails, much more controllable cutting because the cutting jaws aren't at the end of leavers that are a really springy & highly unstable mechanism that you'd often have shoot out of your hand. Wow wow wow! Never ever will I buy £1 clippers again, probably won’t need to anyway as these are so well made and very sturdy and could clip even the thickest of nails. I really love the spring action that makes the job so much easier. Comes in a handy tin with a small metal file so I no longer have the excuse of forgetting to because I’ve lost them :)

I have a really bad big toe nail, that was too thick to cut with usual nail scissors. Even after soaking my feet for an hour, this nail was still impossible to cut. So I searched for some tips on what to do, and a visit to a chiropodist would have cost me £55 (plus the awful embarrassment of having them see just how shocking my toenail was). Then I chanced upon advice about finding nail clippers which open wide to allow for thickness of a nail. Sounded good but I was sceptical if they would cut through mine, knowing how problematic they can be. I really should not have hesitated. I got these clippers, soaked my feet as advised, and gently clipped it down to a presentable nail. They cut very well and were exactly what I needed. They didn’t lift the nail from its bed, and made clean cuts. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending these, and only wish I got them sooner. But now with the nicer weather on its way, I can wear sandals without fearing I’ll scare people 😂

These are really impressive nail clippers and file. They are made from strong metal and are highly effective. They are large and easily handled and therefore can deal with even the most overgrown nails! They also come in their own metal box. All-in-all, fantastic value for money! Highly recommended.

Needed these for my stainless steel 1 inch thick toenails as my last clippers broke sending shrapnel into the walls.These are very sharp and very strong as they managed to cut my toenails with ease. comes in a nice case and carry bag which will probably never get used again, but it's a nice touch.

Such a simple gadget, but excellent performance. Surprised how much better than 'traditional' clippers. Super clean cut with very little effort required. Recommended.

I got this set to take with me when hiking around the peak district, nothing more painful than getting a toenail that breaks and digs in, now i can sort it right away.It comes with a steel pack that you can just slide in your backpack and i take some plasters and wipes with me just in case (though never had to use it yet) it's a great way to ensure you can sort a painful problem quickly.

This nail clipper certainly beats the one I bought in a chemist shop years ago, which had a problem opening wide enough. The Sopito has an opening wide enough for the thickest nail, and is comfortable to use. Why did it get 4 stars and not 5, simply because the curve is slightly too bent. A straightish curve on a nail clipper is easy to handle with a straightish nail, and if the nail is slightly smaller with a tighter curve, it's simple to use more cuts. However, if the clipper's curve is too curved to start with, it's a problem with a straighter nail. This clipper is slightly too curved. I still like it, though.

Je l'utilise depuis 1 mois; Son ergonomie permet d'être précis, coupe de façon très efficace les ongles épais (ouverture ultra large de 17mm comme décrit) Pas besoin d'effort et c'est appréciable pour les mains avec arthrose ou arthriteAttention toutefois car il tranche dur! La lime à ongle qui l'accompagne est efficace. J'apprécie la boite métallique de rangement et le petit sac noir de velours (pratique pour des déplacements).

Muy buen producto. El primer cortauñas que tengo que corta de verdad. Un poco más grande y pesado que un cortauñas normal pero corta con una precisión increíble. Con otros cortauñas en ocasiones se astillan las uñas, con este no. Eso sí, hay que tener cuidado de no cortarse un dedo.
