It’s certain long. My significant other thought it was a belt. I’m 5’8, average torso. I’m returning it. When I tried it on with the outfit I bought it for (very low cut body suit) it got stuck in the waist band of my high rise jeans. It’s pretty and seems to be decent quality for the price. Would be super cute if you were 10 ft tall or might make a great circa 2000 waist chain/belt.

The drop chain does not wildly bounce while walking, and the bar at the end does not feel heavy. Easy to put on and take off, as there is no clasp. Stays secure; I don’t worry that it will slip or unloop itself. This lariat necklace is a suitable length and inexpensive way to decorate a tunic.

this necklace is cute as can be but it is super long and it always wraps around itself. It works great when you wear it with a low cut top. i like the black color but i just wish it was a bit more durable.

I was really excited to find this necklace. However, the actual item does not appear as pictured. I wanted this because it was a double chain, and had the lariat part. The chain is not quite long enough to double up like the picture (and I have a small neck), and when worn regularly the chain is so long you can't see the bar (it goes to my mid-stomach). I would not recommend this necklace. It is just an odd length.

Unless your sitting and not moving it will stay on…it falls off constantly.But it looked beautiful.

The chain got tangled as soon as I put in the pouch and created a knot so tight I couldn’t undo it. Again when I took it out if the ouch to wear it it was so knotted that it’s not even wearable anymore!

This is a cute enough piece but you can find it for about $3 on ebay so the $20 tag is ridiculous. The metal is listed as stainless steel, it's not, I got an immediate reaction to it, which means there's base metal in it.It's cute but not worth the price and not worth the horrible allergic reaction. Had I had time I would have immediately returned it.
