Intuitive Analog Circuit Design

much more coverage than first edition: REALLY GOOD BOOK
I own many many books on analog circuit design (including the first edition of Thompson's book) and think that for around fifty dollars this is one of the best bargains out there. It's a little like learning design "secrets" from an analog godfather type figure willing to pass on tricks of the trade. I will say that most of these techniques can be collected from various other books/resources (so not really "secrets") but the author puts them all in one place, in a cohesive order, and provides clarifying examples. Most of presentation material is focused on circuit implementations from maybe the late 80s (PCB level BJT designs are common-place throughout) but all of the techniques are still relevant today and have their place even in modern CMOS IC designs. If I were a professor, I'd use this book along with a more traditional textbook (Gray & Meyer, Johns & Martin, Razavi, Baker, etc.) to teach circuit design.

Intuitive Analog Circuit Design
Excellent text book. Contains some topics that are rarely covered by other books. For example the frequency response of the collector circuit. Highly recommended to those, interested in analog circuit design.
