Just Shopping with Mom (A Golden Look-Look Book)

Grandson loves this book. He can easily follow along and stays interested with the story.

My second grader has really stared breezing through books. It was a good purchase. Great story.

Mercer Mayer stories have been my favorites for decades! I read them to my kids and my grandkids and now I am using them with my students that I tutor. The stories are heartwarming and the main character always learns a lesson. The artwork is so beautiful! I can’t say enough good things about the Mercer Mayer books!

My daughter loves Little Critter and we love stories like this. Good classic for a toddler!

I love the Little Critter books because they’re so cute and I like that there are books like this where the son spends time with just his mom. As a single mother, I appreciate this and it also makes the book more relatable for my son. (Note: I’m aware there’s a dad in the Little Critter world but it’s cool to see the “mommy and me” type of books too.) Also I just had to upload a picture of one of the pages from the book. For anyone who has ever seen their sibling get in trouble by their mom, this face was so hilarious and accurate LOL! Cute book, love the art and it can be an accurate representation of a mom grocery shopping with three kids :D

This inexpensive little book is a favorite from my childhood. The pictures are enchanting and the story line is cute. I think I like it better now that I can relate as a mom. Poor mom, shopping with 3 kids!

My 3 yrr old has no concept of what a critter is....and there were a few Americanisms ( cart for trolley, going to tomeout) however my 3 yr old loved the book. She related to the naughty sibling and stressed mum I suppose...I found it rather dull but we hsve hindreds of books buy msny are too long, too boring or just badly written. Thid was a very good bedtime story.....we will buy more.

I like the general writing and art style. What I really dislike is Little Critter fails at everything. Instead of learning my child imitates the drawn failures by Little Critter. He’s utterly incompetent at every task.

Great little book. Not too long, perfect for bedtime. I love the little critter books, and my sons adores them and laughs when we read them. Hes 2.
