Ravensburger Jaws Board Game - Thrilling Strategy and Suspense Game for Teens and Adults | Interactive Gameplay | Ideal for Gifting | Suitable for Ages 12+

I really just became Ravenburger's favorite board gamer. My family plays A LOT of board games. We just love them. We can hardly decide on a movie or tv show that everyone agrees on, but board games are our great neutralizer. We have enjoyed co-op games in the past with such favorites as Pandemic and Forbidden Island, but none have the nostalgic feel and visualization as being in a Ravensburger game.JAWS is an excellent game. It mixes strategy with the luck of the dice. The gameboard graphics take you to Amity Island and Quint's Orca ship. The playing pieces- cards, tokens, beachgoers, and wooden ships-shark-and players are top-notch. The premise of the game is fun and fair to both the shark and the characters. The game may be a bit difficult for newcomers to co-op games but I must say that these directions are excellently written and are presented in a nice and thorough and clear sequence.Note: Ravensburger games do not come sealed in cellophane. Rather, they are taped closed.Suggestions for Ravensburger: Make the board a little bigger as such beautiful graphics on this gameboard should be displayed in a bigger format. Also, beachgoers should have a little beach container to be sunning in waiting for their turn in the ocean to possibly encounter The Shark.Note to Ravensburger: I volunteer to be a future game tester for you. I truly love your games!!!!

Very well made. Fun to play. Nice artwork and the two sided board for part one and part two is a nice feature!

Very good game gose good in my collection

Jaws is cinema gold and this game brings Jaws into the 21 century and adds the suspense of the movie. I love this game, but it is challenging to learn and always takes over an hour to teach to new people. Once you get it though, this game will have you on the edge of your seat. I like both acts, but act 2 is the best. I've played 3 times and every time it always comes down to a kill or be killed on the last piece of the Orca. This is a great, suspenseful game that takes a long time to teach and learn, but once you figure it out, you will love it! It's a longer game, so set aside 3 hours to learn and play both acts. We also played with 7 people, so you can ignore the 5 players.

This game is cat and teen approved. We had a snow day and my teenaged nieces were over. We decided to watch Jaws while playing Jaws. It was a great time.I love the two different acts of the game that can be played in sequence or separately. We decided to start with Act One, and play Act Two later. The replayability is really there! I love the teamwork aspect of the game. The youngest niece had a blast playing Bruce the shark. She absolutely wrecked the rest of us.10/10 will play again.

This game is FUN!!! Be forewarned it does take awhile to learn but once learned you just want to play it over and over again. Gotta save the swimmers! There is a video you can watch of the game being played on YouTube also that will help you to also understand how to play the game so they don’t leave you hanging. There are 2 acts, (parts) to this game so it isn’t a short game. But you’ve got to give this game a try. It’s a well put together game. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Not just blind dice luck. A lot of thinking and strategy went into this game. Beautiful art and very well designed! High replay value
