Overrated and disappointing, look carefully before choosing, features limited
Edit:After originally considering my purchase, I left a review expressing my dissatisfaction. As time has went on, I have realized that these specific lights were designed for a track system. Someone from the company reached out to me and wanted to let me know that I should be using track pieces, and after more exploration I think that assessment is right. The product is still relatively frustrating on its own.I think I would still be just as critical over the logicbox/remote that is included with this setup. but overall I've left my original review intact, and raised my review from 2 stars to 4 stars... so its a buyer beware, but also redeeming in the end. Thank you!================================Original post:Having used some LED strip lighting in the past, I thought I was doing myself a favor with these. Unfortunately, the product is a little sub-par on multiple levels and I will gladly explain why:Connectors sub par:The connectors, which barely fit btw, go in to the wall are some of the most frustrating connectors that I've ever seen. They have to be screwed in, but the screws are tiny and need to be predrilled in to the connector which causes you to accidentally overdrill and rip out drywall. This could be fixed by longer screws and having a "gate" latch mechanism on the connectors like most other products have.Remote:The remote is okay but the features highlight how basic this unit actually is. The fading transitions between different "fun colors" are there, but its primitive in transitions. The dimmer doesnt get quite dim enough, which is nice if you like a REALLY bright space but what if you want it to also get very dim? Why cant I have it both ways? The actual strip LED lights itself:First of all, this LED lighting causes the strange "haloing" effect in the room I'm using it where basically any movement looks like its lagging in real life. I'm pretty sure this is because the refresh rate of the voltage inside of the LEDs, but this is the only LED strip I've used where I can see this very distracting effect. Secondly, and this part probably annoyed me the most, YOU CANT REALLY SEE IT IN THE PICTURES PEOPLE PROVIDE but there are gaps in this LED strip setup which are "branded as cut points" but honestly why is the gap so big? it just looks like the LED is "covered" or dead in those spaces... which brings me to my last and ultimate complaint: One of the Red LED's midway through my strip is completely defunct and so now all of the other colors for that specific LED are slightly off.Overall, with such high reviews and praise for this particular model, I'm not sure what all the hubbub is about. It was so frustrating to install these that at the end of the day I don't even know if I want to take them back down to return them... I guess I will just live with them :(

They dim perfectly.
Used it in reveal cut into my wall cap. The lights have two things to consider. The big one is the transformer and the other is the fuses plug. I wish they plugged in so I didn’t need to cut the cord to feed it thru my conduit.Otherwise. They dim perfectly and seem very well built.I’d buy the again for my next job.

Awesome lights. Very bright.
We used these as lighting under a countertop and they are amazing. Look great, very bright and remotes work well. Protective silicone covering is stout but doesn’t block the brightness. Will buy again! Quick delivery.

Arrived on time
The lights arrived on time. They are brighter than most rope lights which what I needed. I installed them in my crown molding. Easy to put up and installed a diimer light switch at the wall. Works great. Don't know about longivity yet, but will update my review if they don't last.

Awesome Quality! Comparable to the $1200 brand name
We had a pretty large project. Went to a local lighting gallery. I originally bought this same style LED rope light for $1200. Got online and found Shine for a fraction of the cost. Bought it. Compared the 2 to each other & returned the $1200 one.Pros: inexpensive, impressive light, easy to work with.Cons: because they are dimable if you mount them where people can see the actual strip itself, the yellow tint can be seen at times depending what angle you are standing at. At first we thought there was a defect in areas with yellow tint. Then we realized that it was a reflection of the glass depending where you are positioned in the room. (There is no yellow glow, just visually seeing the glass of the LEDs causes this) To fix this for my project I bought 1 inch clear Rigid channels which I frosted and pushed into the gap between the beam and the ceiling. If you are mounting these where people will not be staring directly at the glass area of the LED itself you will not see this tint. Only the bright white glow that the strip puts off.

Very bright...great customer service.
Update 12.2.20 This company reached out to me before i emailed them and offered a possible fix. It didnt work, so then they sent me a new string of lights. Very impressed with customer service. Hopefully the new string will work better. First review: I'm impressed with these lights. Seem fairly heavy duty. They are very bright and the remote works well, even from inside the house. They look very nice on the house. Since I plan to leave them up all year, it would be nice if you could program 2 or 3 colors of your choice to display. Like red, white and blue for the 4th. Other than that I really like the lights. I used heavy duty double sided tape to hold them up. I live in North Dakota. They have been up for over a week so far with a few cold night. Hopefully the tape will continue to hold thru winter.Second review: I came home and found 3 sections of lights out. All that work and it lasted a week and a half. Very disappointed!

Very bright and durable
I needed some LED lights to light up a 1200sf atrium that had no other lights. I needed something that was waterproof, a daylight color temperature, bright enough to light up the area from 25' above the ground, at least 35' in length and preferably 110v. These looked promising so I bought one roll to try them out. I did not know how many strands were needed and I could install up to seven strands on metal rods strung above the room. There are outlets up above on one side of the room so this would work out fine. Using drapery rod rings, I hooked one ring every foot of the light strip and hung it on the center rod. Using an Alexa WiFi plug to turn the power on and off completed the project. When turned on at night the one strand almost lit up the entire room except for that about seven feet to the left and right of the light which is not as bright. I ordered a 150' roll and cut two more lengths and put them about five feet in from the ends. Now the entire room is lit up at night with enough light to make it appear like just before sunset. The power consumed for this is about 150 watts with no dark areas in the room. While this is not something most people would need, these are great lights for anyone needing lights outside.
