Possmei Flavored Syrup, Honeydew, 5.5 Pound

I ordered the Peach and Honeydew syrup. So far I have tried to honeydew and am very impressed. There is a popular soda brand which is supposed to taste of honey"dew" - well, this added to water with or without bubbles tastes like a bite of fresh ripe honeydew. I can choose how much to add and am very very very happy with it. I plan to use the peach syrup with my green teas which I brew for iced tea. I must say that I have read the ingredients and yes. . . okay, it's sugar - that's why it is called "Syrup". But in such small quantities as I use with my water it is AMAZING! If you really like melon as I do give this a try and experiment with how much to add for the flavor concentration you prefer. This would be incredible in milk with ice blended together. I should try that next :)

Wonderful flavor i use this with my honeydew scrapings to make a refreshing honeydew ice. When i cut the melon there is that slightly bitter scrapings close the rind. I scrape it off into a zip bag & freeze it. When i have enough i put into my ice cream maker with alittle flavoring & in less than 10min have a great tasting refreshing ice.

I wanted to make my own honeyDew ice cream. I purchased the honeydew powder mix here at Amazon and the taste was ok, but not like honeydew. My supermarket used to sell honeydew ice cream and also a cantaloupe flavor by the same company. It was just like eating fruit but in ice cream form. Delicious!! Since the powder did not have enough flavor I decided to try this in liquid form. It does have a slight honeydew taste but falls short of really imitating the fruit flavor. I am wondering if this is just the powder stuff with added sugar and water to make it syrup. The syrup is very thin, not thick like some other syrups I have tried. I did crush ice in my Vitamix to make a snow cone. It did taste good over the ice. I also added it to Silk coconut milk with ice in the blender and that was good. I mixed it with green tea over ice and that was also good. However, I was hoping for a strong honeydew taste to make ice cream and this just did not come close. I am going to try actually blending real honeydew fruit with cream and then adding some of this syrup and freezing. Maybe that will do it. I do like the taste of this product, I was just disappointed that it did not have a stronger honeydew taste but more of a honeydew flavoring.

Exactly what I was looking for! The syrup is thick & strong, so you don't have to add too much. I've been searching for a melon syrup that had the right flavor, without being overly expensive. This fits the bill. I've used it to make melon sodas by mixing it with club soda and, after thinning it down with water, as a topping for shaved ice. I'm looking forward to purchasing the Litchi syrup next.

I love bubble tea, my favorite happens to be honeydew! I use a 24 ounce shaker, 1/4 cup of syrup, 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 green tea, fill it up with ice and some water (a little space is needed for the bubbles too!) It's as close as I can get to my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh.

This is the classic Asian honeydew flavor I have been searching for. I bought it to make homemade honeydew flavored ice cream. It is great. Not too sweet and not too wimpy but just right! Nice color in the ice cream, too.

Wasn't strong enough flavored

I bought this because I missed the Honeydew Syrup Starbucks (no longer) use making Match Green Tea Latte's. This is a HUGE bottle, even for a family of Honeydew Syrup lovers. Just sayin'. As the flavor goes, at first I was put off slightly because, upon reflection, the Honeydew flavor is more natural than the Starbucks version was. That's a good thing, it just took me a few tries to make it my new dewy bestie.
