nice packaging
20 x 21mm may be too strong for average viewing better to choose 10 gave my friend one of my 10's and kept the bigger one,

Really need 20X ?
10x would have been a better idea. That’s what people were suggesting and I went with 20x anyway. Not interested in having two. The device is functional with a clear image, the case is kind of cool. The image is not inverted. Happy with the product.

Terrible lens. Do yourself a favor and try Bausch & Lomb instead.
I got this for an aspiring geologist friend of mine and I was very disappointed. The lens is large (and weighty) but offers only a small field of view that is actually in focus (less than half the diameter of the lens). What is worse is that this lens can only be used if you are looking through it from one side (the lens will be touching the mineral sample before you get it in focus if you try it the other way around). I have honestly never encountered such a bad hand lens. I would never purchase this lens again. If you are looking for a good hand lens (particularly for geology) I would recommend paying a little more and getting a Bausch & Lomb lens. They do cost more, but if you are planning on having it throughout your career, it is definitely worth the minor investment.

Everything you could want for $12
AMAZING quality for the price!! $12 for triplet and 20x with a leather case. Simply perfect. Arrived on time even. I am overly satisfied with my product and experience.

It was broken, flimsy, and I was not able to magnify anything as the field of vision was tiny. I returned it.
