SBC Alternator Bracket Kit for Chevy SBC 350 Small Block Engine, Aluminum

This product really cleaned up my new Powermaster Chrome Alternator installation. Fit my SBC perfectly!

The SBC Alternator Bracket for a Long Water Pump is a fantastic addition to any engine bay. From the moment I installed it, I couldn't help but admire how amazing it looks under the hood. But looks aren't the only thing it has going for it. Installation was a breeze, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of this bracket compared to the stock part it replaced. It felt more robust and ready to handle the rigors of daily driving without breaking a sweat. The only minor hiccup I encountered was with the turnbuckle-style adjuster. It seemed a bit stiff initially, and I had some difficulty getting the ends to screw in far enough to mount the belt. However, once the belt was on, adjusting the tension and alignment became a breeze. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this bracket. It's a worthwhile upgrade that I would buy again without hesitation. Exact fit looks better than original bracket and easy adjust alternador belt

Mount works. looks halfway decent fits. no issue, although sometimes you would rather have it a little longer on the adjustable ends so may have to change out a belt

This mount worked out really good. It keeps your alternator in line with the belt perfectly. Very easy to install with room for adustment forward or back.

I had to shorten the spacer like others have had to. I'm impressed with the overall quality, I had to use one of my old bolts but other than that, I'm very pleased

Looks really great, very sturdy, way easier and better for belt tensioning. My engine is a 1996 5.7 that came with a serpentine belt system, now it has an old school V-belt pulley set up. So I did have to remove 3/16s of an inch from the sleeve. There's a fair amount of variance with water pumps and the fronts of cylinder heads so I'm not surprised it needed some trimming. The Alternator pulley lines up perfectly. Overall I'm quite pleased with this bracket set and would not hesitate to buy another.

Needed this because my strip dominator intake didn’t have bolt provision for factory alt bracket, the adjuster style bar in this kit uses a bolt on the water pump instead so it works perfect, also love all the hex key hardware it comes with, I’m a fan of using updated hex and torx key fasteners on older style vehicles that originally use standard hex head bolts

Packing was not great, so some light scratches on the finish. If you are ordering this for a show car, I’d advise not, but for a nice cruise car then yes as we drive them and they are amazing cars, but not built for show only. Product fits and works as it should, looks awesome too.
