YaeMarine Marine Boat Bilge Pump Float Switch Ignition Protection 20 Amps (12V 24V 32V)(White)

This product failed after only a couple of months of little use FLOODED our 41-foot sailboat. Fortunately, our marina is shallow so the water that was in the bilge caused us to sink a few inches when our boat hit bottom. HAD WE BEEN IN DEEPER WATER, WE WOULD HAVE LOST THE $70K BOAT! THE COMPANY DIDN'T STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT saying it had 90-day warranty when we simply asked for replacement on a product less than 6 months old from purchase--only installed and use infrequently for 3 months. (Short warranty wasn't in advertising).We have a deep bilge and the water came up to the floor boards. In boats with a shallower bilge, the water would have destroyed the wood floor and interior. We bought 2 switches and 2 3500 gpm pumps from YaeMarine--one primary, one secondary if the first failed. We purchased in July, installed in October. In December, the boat flooded. One pump worked if put on manual. The second pump and both switches failed. It is very difficult to get to the pumps (takes hours of taking boat infrastructure apart.) We put in an emergency pump. Upon contacting YaeMarine, simply asking for replacement of part (forget the hours and cost to install/uninstall/reinstall). They refused saying there was only a 90-day warranty. We again asked for a replacement willing to "chance" we got 3 "lemons". They said no. BE WARNED!

Have bought several of these and are reliable and I have confidence of them working when needed
