Build a better life
Perfect for a twin king. I left the legs off and placed a 2x2 inch board full length under cushion for support . Then built a shelf to sit on top. Love it

Not 45.5 inches tall
I was concerned the description said this is 45.5-53 inches tall. I thought I would have to chop some of the leg off, but when I got it, it was too short. It was actually about 38-39 inches tall at the highest install setting, so I put a couple of pieces of 2x4 on the floor to raise it a couple of inches and now it sits right below my window seal, perfect. I didn't attach the headboard to anything and it stays in place well enough. If it was installed on the bed frame then I believe it would sit higher but I don't think it would ever reach 55 inches. My old headboard had a sharp edge molding at the top which could really hurt your head if you leaned back against it. This one is nice and soft, so it is much better for sitting in bed. I bought it for $110 now it is $90, due to Amazon's bad price match policy I had to order the lower cost item and return the original which is a complete waste of time, effort and money on their part.

Headboard
The color is great. Nicely padded. The wood frame is not the best. I bought this because it could be wall mounted. No mounting hardware included. It was very difficult to mount!

Comfortable & great for the price (Back side unfinished)
This review is for the gray-colored headboard; color is medium gray exactly as pictured. I needed an inexpensive headboard just to keep the pillows on the bed while I’m in a temporary living situation. I bought headboard mounting plates, but I’m not using them because the headboard works fine and is the perfect height standing on the floor pushed tightly between my standard queen bed rails and wall. (I have to readjust after a lot of “movement,” but no problem since I will only be living here for another month.) The upholstery looks more expensive than it is—sort of thickish and textured, almost rough (a good way)—and leaning against it is very comfortable when my boyfriend and I are watching tv—exceeded my expectations considering the cheap price. If you’re looking for something high-end or a headboard that doesn’t have to be against the wall, you’ll want to pick something else because the back is not finished (covered in black, cheesy fabric—kind of like the stuff that’s on the bottom of your mattress—and looks like it will rip easily). This doesn’t matter for me though. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’m a regular person—not a paid reviewer—just trying to get better about writing reviews because I rely heavily on others’ reviews. #amazonkarma #peoplewhothinkhashtagscountasclever #erroneously

Exactly as expected
After reading reviews it became clear that hardware to attach the headboard to anything was not included. Made me happy because I have a ton of things to use and I don't need any more stuff to store. The bolts and spacers worked fine for connecting the headboard to the legs. So it is exactly what I was expecting to get, nothing more nothing less.

Hardware not what is pictured.
I setup my head board tonight, but to my dismay, there were only 4 bolts and washers (to connect the metal legs to the headboard) and that's it. Nothing to connect to my existing metal bed frame. On top of all that, the pictured headboard metal legs (both 2D picture AND the 3D picture showed bolt holes at the bottom of the legs to attach to the bed frame. When it arrived, and I took it out, there were no tiny bolt holes, but VERY LARGE SLOTS running up the bottom of the legs about 3 or 4 inches long. Now I have an unattached headboard sitting up against the head of my bed (mind you, the bed doesn't and cannot push up against the wall).

Loving this headboard
Everything about this headboard pleases me, from the aesthetic, quality and value to the ease of assembly and installation. It couldn’t have been simpler to put together. I have a standard Queen-sized metal bed frame for which this was a perfect fit. The only additional items needed for mounting the headboard to the frame were (4) 1 1/4” machine screws with nuts. I was able to do it all without any assistance. I did decide to purchase headboard stoppers that will arrive tomorrow due to a baseboard that doesn’t allow the headboard to sit flush against the wall. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. I think it looks great and feel it was very modestly priced.

Excellent for the money!
I bought this headboard for my 16-year-old daughter. For the price, you can't beat it. The fabric feels nice and appears quite durable. I was afraid that there would be a big gap between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the fabric but as it turns out there are multiple holes in the posts that you can adjust the height t your size mattress. My only con is the way it attaches to the bed frame. The headboard tilts forward since it is top-heavy. Even though there are two bolts that attach the headboard to the frame it wasn't enough to keep the headboard at a 90-degree angle. So, to stop the headboard from tilting forward I just put a zip tie around the bottom of the post and frame to give it added support. You can see the white zip tie in the picture. Once I did this the post from the headboard straightened right up. I wasn't sure if this issue was caused by the way the bedframe was designed or due to the headboard.
