Great mono replacement, these are way better than the ones Radio Shack used to sell. Use mine every night. I like the rubber on the end, makes it easy to clean & stays in your ear, and has very good audio quality.

My upstairs neighbor is so noisy I have to listen to an audiobook with the sound going directly into my ear in order to fall asleep at night. I have tried the beanie style headphones, the headband style headphones, and the Bluetooth sleep earbuds. None were perfect. And it's embarrassing to think that it took me this long to recognize what would actually work which was this one single earphone. Had I forgotten my youth with a transistor radio which came with a single earphone? Anyway I sleep on my side so I just switched the earphone to which ever ear is not the one against the pillow. The ear phone is too big for my ears which pretty much every earbud out there is so that's not unusual but it doesn't matter for sleeping because if you're laying on your side all this thing has to do is rest in your ear which is more comfortable anyway.

The sound is a big improvement over a plastic earjack I used for decades w/ transistor radios and TVs. My problem is that the earbud doesn't fit very easily into my ear, which apparently has a narrow opening (I've been told that before). I turned the rubber end of the earbud kinda inside out and it fit much better, but still tends to come loose at times. If your ear is normal you probably won't have a problem. Very good for the price.

When you need to have one ear free? This does does the job perfectly. Well built, light weight, adequate cord length, comfortable in the ear, and has many uses.

I have had dozens of earphones on my life and can say with confidence these are the worst. Not even good enough to listen to the business report. They went right in the trash. On a scale of 1-100 these are zero. 0 I know they were super cheap but still I got ripped off. Maybe they left out an internal part?

In a society of super high tech, why would anyone purchase an earphone? Fair question. Nostalgia? Maybe. Recalling the days of listening late at night to my transistor radio in bed? Maybe. Anyway, this product is good one. So glad I bought it. Holds firmly to my right ear.

Bought this to keep with a small am/fm radio in our emergency kit. Sounds ok, but I have concerns regarding durability as the wire is pretty fine and the plastic bud seems thin. We will see as time goes along.
