Super Comfortable Right Out of the Box! Amazing!!
Amazing! Right out of the box, these were super comfortable. I can tell right away when I put shoes on if they are going to be comfortable or not. These are. No breaking in required. The insole is super-think and looks to be made of cork and will mold to your foot. I am wearing these on a trip to Germany and I know my feet will not hurt. I have a slightly wide toe box and there is plenty of room in these shoes. They look stylish, and can be everyday shoes. It says professional, but I'm wearing these everywhere.

Best work shoe ever
Best work shoe ever. Feet never hurt after being on them all day. Great support and decent sale price. Love the insole that can be removed and replaced

they're fine, not amazing
I got this for reduced price on amazon so for that price I think they are a fine shoe, however, they are not at all worth $120 or whatever they are usually. They are just kind of like a crock or any foaming shoe. I'm a nurse. i think they're more comfortable than Dansko which are so stiff and high up. My small toe joint protrudes from loose ligaments on one foot and I haven't had it bother me in any other shoe except this, so I rated it narrow in the toe box-but it may be before the toe box. pretty design. runs small.

Almost Perfect1
I'm giving these a 5 even though they felt maybe a half size too small (my mistake, not theirs!) I ended up returning them and would have ordered another pair in a larger size had one been available. I'm on my feet 8 to 11 hours a day, 5 days a week. I'm an orthopedic tech for an incredibly busy practice. I've been doing this a long time and I need something more supportive than just tennis shoes. I've been avoiding paying $100 or more for shoes, but comfort has become something I can no longer ignore. These shoes felt wonderful. Like beds for my feet. I so badly wanted them to fit. Speaking of fit, here's what I can tell you: I read a lot of reviews because I wanted the best chance to get sizing correct the first time. I'm a size 9. Some 9s are too snug on my toes and I've been known to wear a 10. I ordered the 39 (equivalent to size 9) because I was afraid 40 would be too big and didn't want my foot sliding around causing blisters. I recently purchased a cheap, knock-off version of professional clogs. They were slightly too big and not well made. Feet slid around causing aforementioned blisters. Anyhoo, they didn't have any color options I liked in a size 40 or I would have ordered them ASAP. So if, for example, you're a size 9, but some 9.5 and even some 10s feel OK, I would order one size up, a size 40. I think for the most part, if you wear a size 9 you would order 39; but if you can comfortably wear a size 10 order a 40, etc. If you wear a 9.5, I would order the 40 and not the 39. There is a sizing chart on here when you click on them...use it! They recommended at 40. I rolled shoe dice and went small.

Let's talk about sizing
First, I have to say these shoes are awesome! The color (I got the Black Splash), the quality of the leather, and the comfort are fantastic. But European sizing is something I am just starting to get a handle on. When you look at a size chart that starts with the measurement of your foot, you would think the conversions would be simple, but evidently not. My feet are 9 5/8" long, which is a true size 8. So according to the conversion chart, I should buy a 38, which is a U.S. size 8 -8.5. Not so much. The shoes were far too small, so I went up a size to the 39 in order to get a good fit. Many European sizes designate a 39 as 8.5 - 9, but this shoe considers a 39 to be a 9 - 9.5. I am a true size 8, but in this shoe I wear a 39. I hope that helps other people who are struggling with sizing. ***UPDATE***The 39 fit perfectly for the Black Splash, and I liked these shoes so much that I bought another pair in Doily. They are really cute, but again the size is off. I bought the 39 thinking they were the same shoes, but evidently not because they are a half size too big. I can't return them because I did a leather treatment on them, but if I wear them with thick socks they should be okay. I just don't understand how a shoe that is the same in every way except for the pattern can be a different size. Arrgghhh!

Nice quality. Too narrow
I loved the leather on these shoes, but even the wide was too narrow for my feet, and it turned out that the stiff sole didn't work for me. But I think that probably they would work for most people. The leather is beautifully soft.

They do give a little after wearing. Might feel snug at first.
I just purchased my second pair of these shoes. When I got the first pair I thought I would have to return them because they were snug across the top opening. I decided to try and break them in and wore them around the house with socks taking them off and on several times for a couple of days. This did the trick. I can now wear them for a 9 hour shift with trouser socks, no slipping at the heal and no pain at the end of the day. Canโt wait for my 2nd pair to arrive! My doctor told me about these and gave me a tip to get the leather uppers and rubber soles. Because of this tip I was able to do the โbreak-inโ. I get questioned weekly on the brand and where to buy.

Too small for a fatter foot.
Ok I loved this shoe. It is beautiful, and I was so excited to wear it. BUT.... I ordered a size larger because people said...it is too small...so I said ok. I am normally an 8 1/2- 9 so I ordered a 10 thinking it would be great. I do not have a narrow foot. I am somewhat flat footed but I am still a medium width. I could just barely get my foot in the shoe. I suppose it would stretch, but it was a very tight fit. My foot barely slid in with pressure and barely made it to the heel. So If you have a fatter foot, I don't know what to say. I went a size up and it was still too small. I returned the shoe. I am sad, because it is a beautiful shoe....but it is just too small for me... It had a nice sole and padding in the shoe as well...but I cannot say I looked forward to trying to break them in, if they could have been broken in... Fat feet beware....

I was not aware of the difference between UK& USA.
This product was too small but I liked the feel & look. If u can take back the Allwear I would like to make a new order of Alegria size 5.5/6

fit well, last a whole shift
I'm a 39, usually 9 in everyday shoes and these fit well,.I'm a nurse and don't want to go sliding or run out of them if I'm responding to an Emergency. My first pair of 'Kayla' style, I have 3 pairs of 'Keli' because I like the full closed foot. I got these to try the low back. and so far am pleased (about 1month of use), they feel snug and I don't slide around in the foot bed. I like the removable foot bed of Algeria shoes to replace the insole at $35 instead of buying a new pair of shoes for $100+. These shoes are easy to slip on and off like the Keli style when I'm on break and need to give my feet a breather. My back and legs aren't sore at the end of a 12hour (or longer) shift because I have crappy shoes.

Would have been perfect if they were the right size.
I ordered a size 8 and got a size 6.
