Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob Shell Case with 5 Button Fit for Chevy Suburban Tahoe Traverse / GMC Acadia Yukon / Cadillac Escalade SRX/ Buick Enclave / Saturn Outlook 2007 2008 2009 2010

My original remote had been through a lot. Eventually the back broke off completely and half the buttons on the front had the image rubbed off of them. I was going to buy an entire replacement remote or two but read (if memory serves) that the cheap one's you could program yourself only worked through the 2011 model year. Fortunately I only lost the back of my remote so I could easily pop the original board out of what was left of it and snap it into this shell and now it looks and works like new. I'm sure people look at my key chain now and think to themselves, I bet he drives something new and respectable. Haha, nope.

I purchased this item after purchasing SIX similar cases from Batteries Plus over the course of a year and a half. The cases from Batteries Plus were complete crap and broke easily! Plus they charged to replace the case. After being frustrated and not being able to find another case from somewhere other than Batteries Plus I purchased this from Amazon. I could tell right away this case was going to be durable like the cases that come with your original keys. I've dropped my keys a couple times and no cracks in the case. This case is AWESOME!!!

It is very hard to snap it back together but overall it is very efficient. Four stars only because it was hard to close and I needed a extra set of hands with pressure to close it.

Absolutley perfect. Bought this replacement for my GMC Acadia (2016) and it's a perfect fit. As you can see, I needed a new fob. Was super easy to transfer but you really gotta use some force to close the new one since the rubber is full and new. I'm in love with it because it was a needed upgrade.

EDIT: I originally gave it five stars, but less than three months later of minimal use (this was used for a spare key) the fob already broke.OLD REVIEW: My key fob case had been cracking and eventually taping it wasn’t helping. I called the locksmith who said I’d have to buy a whole new fob, which is $90 (including programming). On a whim, I searched Amazon for a case replacement and voila, my problem is fixed for $7. I like they include the keypad, my fob works great and looks good.

I bought it 6 times. It keeps cracking on the back then I have to get a new one cause I don't want my remote starter to malfunction. This last time the remote stopped working completely and I had to use the key to get in and out of car then put key in ignition to turn off the alarm.

Revived an original key fob that was deteriorating. Now, instead of only 1 function working all of the functions work without problem. This was a very cost effective solution to an old key fob. Works great and very happy with my purchase.

I required the key fob shell for a 2008 MALIBUE. From the picture and description, this looked like the exact match of the old one except for the trunk release button having an outline of an SUV releasing its hatch. Upon receiving this replacement fob, I installed the old circuit board with battery holder into it and could not get the shell to close. With further study of the new fob, I discovered some internal structures designed to support a smaller battery than what my old key fob was using. A few careful minutes with a sharp blade removed that structure and solved the issue. The two halves of the new fob snapped together securely, and the button pad works exactly like the original. The plastic is solid and as good as the original. I cannot say how long the button pad will last. So far, the car itself is outlasting the fobs.
