Terrific, remote controlled light
I have been amazed at how effective and controllable these par lights are. They are bright, vivid, and the beam projection is surprisingly wide. Best of all, they are wonderfully controllable with the supplied remote control. I was not expecting to have so many options with the remote, but it allows control over color (and switching pattern), speed, and brightness. All of the pre-programmed color switches are useful and can be modified to accommodate many uses (and styles of music). I bought a second one and was happy to find that a single remote can easily control both. Overall, an amazing value.

Exceeds my expectations for a budget light
I'm a musician and I bought four of these to use as front light on the band. I wanted something compact, light, and wide-beamed that I could mount on our speaker stands, and these fit the bill.I'm happy to report that after several weeks of use, these things work great. With four of them, the stage is well-lit enough for me to see what I'm doing, without feeling blinded. They are made out of molded plastic but seem to be durable enough to stand up to the rigors of the road. A lot of people complain when lights aren't made of metal, but honestly, i'd rather have the weight savings. Pounds can add up quickly when you're working with lights, and the lighter they are, the less likely they are to overload their stands, topple over, etc.My only complaint is that the brackets are too flimsy. They work great as a floor stand, but when you bolt the lights to something, you need to run the bolt through both brackets with a spacer, because one bracket is not sturdy enough to hold the light by itself.Everything else works as expected. I typically control them with dmx, but have also used the built in programs. Everything works as expected. If you're in the market for a budget light, these are a great choice.

Great lights for the price.
Great budget lights, I got these as my first set of lights for mobile DJing, they good light output, beam angle is decent if using as uplights. The remote is functional and simple, has all the features of more expensive professional par lights. Great entry level lights.

Great light well worth the money.
I'm 40 years in professional stage lighting and have a large collection of lights I use with live bands. These lights are designed well, respond great in a computer driven DMX system, are bright enough, and when inspecting the fixture it is easy to see quality of workmanship.

Some good, mostly not
I'm a professional DJ and I was looking for a reasonably priced set of 4 led par lights to mount on a tripod stand with DMX capability. The fixtures are fragile- light plastic and hanging brackets that are about as stable as several rubber bands. The lights themselves are bright and, individually, they do what they are advertising to do. However, in DMX mode linked together, they are a disaster. The fixtures do not hold their assigned DMX address. Everytime you power on the lights, you need to re-address each fixture. During operation, one or more of the fixtures will drop its address. One of the fixtures continually fluttered. At one third the cost of the name brand equivalents, these seem like a bargain. Again, if you buy one, you will probably be satisfied. However, in DMX mode these fixtures are not able to handle the situation. Also, the included remote control works OK with one fixture. However, with two or more fixtures, it is impossible to control one fixture without adversely affecting the other. Forget trying to control 4 fixtures with one remote. It's impossible.

Powerhouse 28 watt light!
This light will be perfect for DJ's and small to medium venues. The pictures show the power of the beam and the focus of the beam as it shines approximately 25 feet across our church stage! I love this light and highly recommend it! it also blends colors well, and uses each LED to produce all the colors, so each color has all 28 watts of light in it... unless you dim it. I highly recommend this light!

Basic Teardown Photos Show Decent Construction - 60mm 2 wire 24v fan
If you're paying 1/2 what a name brand charges, you shouldn't be surprised to see corners cut. I'm no electronics expert but, overall, the "guts" of this light are tidy. Zip ties, dab of adhesive to hold connectors together. I think this is what you pay $15 more for over the REALLY cheap LED pars.Anyway, I couldn't find any decent teardown photos so I'm throwing these up here as a courtesy. Take them with a grain of salt. Not trying to prove anything, just provide information.UPDATE: Had to cut away zip tie to confirm fan is standard 2 wire connector 60x60x20mm. 24 volt. I suspect this is what most will want to mod either by slowing it down a bit (not sure how much it really does... heat sink is huge and case is well ventilated).
