Seems quality, but way too sweet for me.
Seems like a quality product, but WAY to sweet for me. It uses sorbitol. I know real wasabi has a bit of sweetness, but this just seemed over the top to me. I am just providing information, not dogging the product. If you do not expect sweet this can be a surprise. I am used to grocery store fake wasabi they put in packages of sushi. I like it better :)

Great adder for grocery store sushi
I'm a sushi lover and when I buy sushi at the grocery store there is NEVER enough wasabi. This product solves that problem with a great wasabi that is spicy but not so hot that it burns your tongue. I highly recommend it!

Oh So Good - Perfect Kick Without Ruining the Sushi
Most wasabi just burns your nose and tastes fake - this one actually has flavor. Weโve reordered it several times and itโs always consistent with the right balance of heat (you feel it, but it doesnโt overpower the fish). We use it with fresh sushi (my husband caught wahoo and it was perfect with this), and it honestly makes homemade sushi taste restaurant level. Weโve also started mixing a little into cocktail sauce for shrimp - gives it a perfect kick and honestly tastes better than using plain horseradish. This is a staple in our house. Quick tip: we mix 3 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp wasabi paste - 1 tbsp honey - fresh or jarred grated ginger - simple but so good.

Itโs too bright green and hot to be real wasabi. Mostly horseradish and food coloring I think. Very disappointed.

This stuff was made Jan 2026 expires Jan 2027. Super hot, burns for about 10 seconds or less like at authentic sushi places.
