Super Sensitive Red Label Bass Set 3/4 Regular

I buy these strings for use in our school music program. These are great strings to use for that purpose - for students. Those looking for a more professional sounding string should look elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, these are not bad strings, they are just not of the quality that professional musicians would use. When you are outfitting instruments for students who have yet to master good tone and intonation, then the quality of string isn't as great of a concern. However, going cheaper than this will result in really poor quality strings that are hard to tune, not durable, and don't vibrate well when bowed.

These strings are fine for a bluegrass upright 3/4 bass. Mine is a home made job, and it still sounds good. I've used them for years. Not overly priced and last a good long time.

It's hard to beat these strings. Very lively sound with lots of volume and the price is right so they won't break the bank!

I am so in love with these strings that another set will be ordered. Anyone that plays Upright for Jazz should try.
