This is not the NM earthship projects. It is an individual's experience in using that knowledge. It is an enlightening read. More of a personal diary than a how to book.

This book was a good an easy read, the author does a good job of describing his journey with ease. He conveyed the story of his journey with enough detail in the build and the experiences of doing without it being a technical overview, but still adding enough information to give a sense of the build experience.

I have known about earthships a while, and kind of thought it would be a cool home to build Reading Alex Leeor's adventure in building Earthship Karuna absolutly turned me into a true believer that these homes, this biotecture is the best way to live in harmony with our planet!Thanks for a great read... getting for the next book for sure!

This is a truly great book. I found it extremely motivating and inspirational. A valuable resource for anyone looking to learn more about Earthships!

The first time I had seen pictures (actually a drone footage) of Alex's Earthship Karuna I was amazed and wanted to know more.Now I can read about and see how the whole build came about and see images as a it started to take form.I found it most interesting reading about building this kind of project in a foreign land to give me a flavor of what it was like in India.Even if you are not looking to build (although there is great information on sustainable building in this book) it is a fascinating read to see a man's dream unfold and Earthship Karuna is a unique, beautiful spot and the story of how it came about is very intriguing, so pick it up and give it a read.

Whether you like crazy building techniques or just have an interest in a sustainable lifestyle, this book is a true treasure of wisdom one can only acquire by direct interaction and experience.I strongly advice this book to anybody, it contains the knowledge to make this world a better place and convinces you that it is easy to be a part of itAs alchemists try to turn lead into gold, the author is effectively turning scrap into a palace.Jewel of a book, don't miss out on this one!
