SteelSeries Smartgrip - Mobile Phone Holder for SteelSeries Controllers (Stratus Duo, Stratus XL, and Nimbus)

Seen someone take the risk on this for their Steam controller on the Amazon US product reviews page and I'm happy to report they were right, as it fits perfectly. There's more than enough room for the clip to fit my Pixel 2XL, and fully expanded it will take a phone thats 88-89mm wide, so the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 shoud fit if you want a 6.4" 16:9 display for Steam streaming. Only thing that would make this better would be if it was double hinged, similar to the PowerA Moga Clip for the Xbox pads, to allow the phone to be positioned above the controller for better overall weight balance.

Kind of ok, it did absolutely destroy my leather case on my phone, I mean really it did cut into The leather, very deep.

Clips, hold's well, just one thing, turn on button is covered when you clipped on. Every time you want to use it yoh need to unclip to tun on or off, otherwise is great.

It does indeed fit a Steam Controller very nicely.

It's good but not very Xbox one 2016 controller compatible as the back plate touches the wireless sync button so it resets the connection to your mobile device every time.

Only problem I had is that the latches can rest on the bluetooth button on the Xbox one gamepad. Which causes the gamepad to keep looking for other devices but you can move a little bit and it works great.

Doesnt work, doesnt hold the phone in place.

It has a good quality for the price, meaning it feels sturdy but it won't last long if you keep on fixing the hinges all the time. It adds no noticeable weight to the controller. I have big hands, so I do hit the back of the clip while pressing the shoulder buttons, but it's not a deal breaker. It was tricky to put on my Xbox One controller at first, but once I did it wasn't so hard to do it again. Pro tip: As it was clearly not designed for the Xbox One controller, once you lock it, it sits on the wireless connection button activating it constantly, so do as you can see in the picture and unevenly move it ever so slightly to the left, so you keep it out of the way.

Works fine on the Xbox one bluetooth controller, just take note that this clip has a locking latch that presses the top securing tab down which is indicated by an arrow on it. You first put the bottom part in that hooks onto the bottom of the controller and then you close the latch. I did not see this a first and was literally breaking my fingers trying to get the controller in and out of the holder nevertheless it works perfectly fine, just you dont have access to the charging port of the controller once its in and the sync button is also blocked so best to pair it with your phone before putting it in the holder and to make sure your controller is fully charged before playing. It also fiits perfectly on my generic Nintendo switch pro controller with even the charging port accessible which is great considering this holder isn't made for either of these controllers as it's meant for the Steel series controllers. Also note there's a rubber pad that goes behind the controller which you can remove if you need to make some extra space if you are having difficulty getting the controller in. The part that keeps the phone in is adjustable so fits most phones, my note 10 plus fits in quite comfortably and it feels secure. The holder over all is sturdy and the part that holds the phone has adjustable angles and can be locked in place so your phone doesnt flop up and down while playing or risk falling out.

Funciona bien el gran pero es que para apagar o prender el control (el duo) hay que desmontarlo por qué bloquea los interruptores de encendido y el de Bluetooth.
