This item is not suitable for the advertised car seats, brought this for the Cybex Sirona car seat (as advertised had been “tested”). When attached it to the car seat it was completely the wrong fit and feel it would be unsafe to use as doesn’t even grip properly. The cover also came damaged with freys in the fabric, clearly had been sent one that had previously been returned by another customer. Discussing for a baby product and will be requesting a refund!

Sadly, being sent this in the middle of winter makes it tricky to review - but review it I must, so I will do my best.The liner fits well in our infant car seat, and creates a layer of air between the car seat fabric and our baby. It feels soft and comfortable, and once inside, it doesn't affect the safety of the car seat.We haven't noticed any difference in how hot our baby gets, but then in the middle of winter that is hardly surprising. I can see the logic of a layer of air, if nothing else to have an easily washable layer to reduce the soiling of the car seat fabric. But I'm not sure that it is really necessary.

Helps to keep our baby cool in the car seat. It's not the greatest fit, but works well. She's so comfortable in it that she often falls asleep. When she caught her first cold and wouldn't sleep in the crib, we put her in the car seat, and I think this liner helped her sleep well in it. We like it so much we got it for her Graco SwiviSeat high chair too!

First of all I’d like to mention that car seat manufacturers advice to only use accessories that come with your car seat.I personally don’t use this item in my car seat but in the pushchair for the same reasons. I found my baby getting sweaty last summer in his pram so I selected this item to make him more comfortable this summer coming.It adds a little extra padding to the seat and we like using it for sure.

This is more a liner than anything else. I expected it to have some kind of cooler inside the fabric but it doesn't. It may work if you have cool air circulating but if it's hot and the air is warm I don't really see how it can stay cool. It's nice to line the carseat though to keep the cover clean especially if the baby has food or drink in the car.

I have always struggled with my little one getting too hot while in the car seat as we do a lot of long journeys. Finally we have a solution. Although it doesn’t have any cooling properties (there is no cooling gel layer or anything) it certainly helps to air the back of the car seat so they don’t get so sweaty.It works well at keeping the air circulating as long as there is cooler air around. I don’t think that is going to do much in the hot summer months with ‘Cooling’ the car seat down but we will see. Either way, its stopped our baby getting so sweating when sat in the car seat on long journeys so a great product for us. Its easy to wash and dries in no time at all and works great at creating a completely breathable layer to the back of any car seat. It was super easy to install and I don't see any reason you couldn't use this inside a pram.

We got this car seat liner to go in our maxi cosy branded car seat for a newborn. The liner itself fits perfectly into the seat and doesn't interfere with any of the safety critical parts. The material itself is backed by all I can describe as a very strong honeycomb like a material that gives around 3 mm of airflow underneath the material which would certainly be beneficial on warmer days to avoid the baby getting restless. It has the added benefit of also acting as a still guard and mess protector for food and drink that may otherwise end up on the car seat. It makes this really easy to lift out and wipe clean with a damp cloth. I would imagine it would give better support and structure as well to make it more comfortable for the baby.
