SpeedoWomen's Swimsuit One Piece PowerFlex Princess Seam Ultraback Conservative Cut

I purchased this suit in January to join my lifeguard son at his “Mamaw and Papaw class” where mature adults have open swim at the local high school pool. It’s perfect and as an avid (although not great) swimmer/hot tuber, this suit has stood up well the last 6 months. I like the way the legs are cut longer. I have an apron belly after 2 c-sections. I struggle to find bottoms that cover my belly and still cover the inside of my leg. There is usually not enough fabric. Because of the boy leg cut of this suit, it perfectly covers all of that but still appears to be a regular suit. Perfect for plus size ladies. Lays modestly around the bottom and bust, perfect to be around my elders to swim. May I advise that you measure yourself and do not size down. I saw other reviews that talked about “white threads” coming out over time. As someone who has sewn Lycra and 4 way stretch garments, those “threads” are the elastic within the fabric that busted because you bought the suit too small. The suit has held well in chlorine and bromine. I do make sure to rinse it out after each use. I’ve used it at the very minimum of 3 times a week the last 6 months I’ve had no color loss, dry rotting or elastic busting. Bless you Speedo, this one’s a keeper. 5/5 would recommend with proper sizing and care this is a fantastic plus size suit.

Good quality material, very comfortable and true to size.

Keeping both reviews and the product description in mind, I purchased a size 10. My measurements lately have been 35-29-41 (I've got a bigger butt than most folks my height). Below are the main areas of interest for me.PROS: I like the "conservative" cut as it actually covers a decent amount of my butt, as opposed to typical high-cut sports swimwear that bunches up in my crack after 5 minutes.The suit material is nice and thick, being double-layered, and the cups are sewn in so I don't need to jostle them around any time I use/wash the swimsuit.It's tailored so my waist is actually visible and I don't look like a rectangle...not that that's necessary, but I liked that detail.CONS: For thicker-thighed folks, the elastic around my butt is just tight enough not to move, but surprisingly the elastic around where my inner thighs meet my crotch is tight as HELL. It hurt and was a bit uncomfortable upon first wear - haven't had the chance to wear it again yet to see if that gets better over time.For pear-shaped folks, I have a decent sized chest (32DDD) and it's still loose up top. Not like the girls will flip out at any point, but not really any compression as I would like for a performance swimsuit. Unfortunately this is the same problem anyone more bottom-heavy runs into all the time with one-piece clothing items.All in all, a good quality purchase but heed my warning to anyone that is remotely pear-shaped.

Amazing suit

I've seen a lot of reviews say they don't hold up well, but I can't speak on that because I've only used it a few times. The sizing seems accurate and love the coverage. Large in the chest area and does a good job of keeping everything secured.

I wish I had photos and smelling-o-vision. I was at first delighted at the fit and cover of this suit. I had purchased two black ones, and the style was comfortable for exercise with a higher neck so I didn’t feel like my chest would fall out. They were purchased for swimming in an indoor pool and doing aqua aerobics. The suit felt absolutely great, and I was particularly thrilled because buying plus size suits that you can’t try on is typically challenging.I hand washed, rinsed and air dried the suit after each use at the indoor pool.Unfortunately, the suit began to degrade after only being used for about 2 to 3 months, 3-4x a week. White fiber breakage began to appear at the chest and down the length of the body of the suit. Like it had been stretched out.I had some traveling to do and put it awayWhen I returned, I pulled the suit out of my bag to put on, and it was twice the size that it had been the last time I had used it! It had further degraded in my absence! It felt tacky to the touch as stank of oily residue, like when you find an old bottle of kitchen oil .I had my back up suit, and began using that. The same exact thing happened the second time, so it wasn’t just a fluke. These suits were not cheap. This is a good brand, or so I thought, so I thought I was buying some thing that would last me more than one season.I am very disappointed. At this point, I’m done buying from the brand. Don’t expect longevity from these suits. I suppose if you’re just using them once in a while, they might work for you.

I’m wearing size 4 of all lululemon tops and bottoms. But this swimsuit, I have to returned size 4 and even 6 was a bit tight for me. And then I found this is a BIG MISTAKE. After I swimed 3 times, it became too big and loose for me. Overall I like its quality and it does dry super fast.

I have ordered this Speedo suit over the years as my size haz changed. Swam a mile in this style. Bought this on to SNUBA off Maui. Fabulous coverage and fit! Buy a size a up for comfort, or size per guide for performance.

I have bought this swimsuits many times, especially when I was swimming on a daily basis. Toronto pools use a lot of chlorine, so unfortunately it damages the cloth and stretchiness of the swimsuit.This is a perfect swimsuit for laps, very comfortable, fits a pear-shape body. I am 5’5 and have worn the size 10 when my weight was 65-70 kgs.

Edit: I bought this and have worn it 24 times, exactly, for lap swims that vary from 40-60 minutes. So less than 24 hours of wear, total. And it has disintegrated - the elastic between the breasts just gave out mid-swim. It is the correct size (bordering on too big, actually), has always been hand washed and hung to dry. So disappointed. I don’t know if it’s an anomaly or that’s the quality of these now… and because my month for refunds has passed I can’t contact Speedo to ask.Great for someone who likes a bit more coverage - longer cut on the leg (bikini area is well covered) and higher in the back.
