Fun, But Might Be Hard for Younger Kids
I bought this for my six-year-old, who loves the Nerf products. (It's a "bonding" activity between him and his Godfather, running through my house shooting at each other.) He'd expressed interest in "shooting" games after watching his friends play Call of Duty (not happening at six!) and watching his uncle play Cabela's Big Game Hunter, but wasn't too thrilled about the idea and thought Nerf might be a good compromise. (My husband thinks I'm too cautious.)The games are exactly what they say they are, and they're fun, but this is a little too advanced for my kid. I realize the recommended age is above six, so I don't want to rate it down for this, but I wanted other parents to be aware if they're considering this purchase for a child under eight. If your under-eight child has experience with these types of games, then Nerf will probably bring hours of enjoyment; if you're kid is like mine and hasn't ever played shooting games on a system, wait until they're a little older. The "gun" is durable and well-made. It's survived countless attacks by my eighteen-month-old and plenty of real-life shoot fests with my son and his godfather. It's nice that the product can be used without the video game and, for that alone, is probably worth the purchase as the price goes down (provided you already have a bunch of Nerf guns and ammo at home). As for the video games, they're a lot of fun! There's nothing special here, but I find them a decent alternative to the more violent shooting simulations. The graphics aren't remarkable, but the game play is smooth and addictive, spawning countless competitions around our house. As an adult, I prefer Big Game Hunter and COD and the like, but these games are definitely true to the "Wii" concept of family fun and my son likes them more and moer every time he tries it. His friends also love it, even though they're all pretty awful at it.I can see this bundle lasting quite a long time!

Great shooter game!
This game rocks! I bought for the family, and it's really cool and fun to play, single or multiplayer mode. Each screen has it's own challenge and varies in difficulty and tasks. Plus the nerf pistol is really cool. From the box description I did think it'd be bigger, but it's about the size of the wii perfect shot. Plus it has space as to connect the nunchuck at the end of the wii-mote, for other first person shooter games. You get to play against the machine, and beat your own records or the ones from other player. A big plus, is that you shoot bots, boxes or spheres that don't look like people or anything like that, so it's great for the little ones.Future enhancements for the game is to integrate the nunchuck so you can move around freely (that would increase the difficulty I'm sure). All and all, the bundle was a good buy, 2 games included, and a nifty dart shooter.

Better deal than just buying one of the games
Santa brought my daughter's a Wii for Christmas and left this game for daddy. He's played it a few times and says it's an okay game. The best part in my opinion is that it's not to graphic for my kids to be in the room when he plays. The gun also joined our other Nerf guns in a family Nerf war a few nights ago and worked pretty well. A great deal at 19.99!

Great for my 8yo
My son shared his birthday with a couple of other army-obsessed third graders (one 9 years, the other 8 years) and they loved this game. Other than taking a couple of shots myself, I cannot review from the standpoint of a player, but from a parent looking to give his son a fun release on weekends, I am very satisfied. Needless to say, it was somewhat of a 'shoot as much/quick as you can' but a little strategy thrown in ... so definitely not everyone's cup of tea, and our kids will be playing sparingly ... but definitely what we were looking for (no mindless voilence, no blood etc.)

8 year old son loves this. Friends 5-13 yr old love it too.
I bought this for my son as a Christmas present. He had asked for Nerf Guns/toys and Wii games. You godda love two birds with one stone! He has had it for 7 months and he and his friends still play it more often than anyother game. He especially likes that the controller can also shoot the nerf darts.

Good concept
The game is a fun idea, but it is not as easy to play it gets tiring quickly and without consistant gameplay is difficult to master the game since you need certain muscle to be trained so you can hold the controller steady. If you practice a lot it can be really fun!

Great value, loads of fun
It is a bundle that has the original game plus the squeal. There are lot of variety in both the games. The new one has levels borrowed from other EA puzzle games. Perfect for the little ones, neither kiddish nor mature. Right for the age. Lot of levels can be played with multiple people, you can just use a second wii remote. The gun is great and feels very good in the hand. Grab it when you see on sale. It is much better value than buying the original one.
