Perform quite well considering the low price
I bought this set primarily for the filberts, slants and flats (for drybrushing 25-30mm minis and bases, painting and drybrushing same scale vehicles, aircraft, etc.), and they perform very well, especially considering the low low price of the set. It's been my experience since learning how to drybrush back in stone knife and bearskin days, that cheaper, artficial brushes usually do a better job and last longer than higher quality natural brushes. It certainly is true with these so far. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the 0 and 000 round detail brushes in the set did a good job, at least for awhile. Overall, I've been using nearly all of the brushes for awhile now, and it turns out that I'm using the numbers 2, 3, 4 and 6 rounds almost as much as I used to use the 0 and 1 sizes. The originally pointy Rounds I used regularly from this set already have lost their nicely shaped points, instead doing that terrible curlycue thing at the tip that usually happens with cheaper brushes. They still serve me well as brushes for general (larger area) wash jobs, but I'll go with my very best size 1 or smaller brushes for detail painting, or 'lining-in' using dark and colored washes to emphasize hard edges between joints, armor plates, details, etc. The Filberts and Flats still are nice brushes for drybrushing, on objects tiny and large both. I used to rely primarily on those cheap Testors 'flat' nylon brushes in different sizes for most, practically all, drybrushing tasks -- probably for 35 years and more (!) -- just not realizing how much they're not the best tool for the job. Eventually, I tried out Flats, as recommended in some book or other (Fine Scale Modeler magazine almost certainly), and began using them regularly. Now, between those and Filberts (from 00 on up in both types), they're pretty much all I ever use for drybrushing. These aren't super brushes, as other inexpensive, artificial brushes have done as well or better, but they have done pretty danged well at the ridiculously low price. Not bad at all.

Perfect set for beginning miniature painting
Great starter set for miniatures. Not going to be your long-term brush set - but no complaints on the brushes for the price. Perfect set to start with and keep for those times you need a random size or flat brush that you don't need to spend premium price for. Not going to be all the brushes you need - pair with the https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00NI39OSU 11-piece set and you have a great collection of brushes. Have held up to a lot of rough dry-brushing and lots of painting and washing. Keeps their shape well with a little Masters Brush Cleaner.

An Amazing Deal
I love these brushes! They are made well, and to top it off there's a year warranty. It'shard to shop for nice brushes on a small budget or any art materials for that matter. A lotproducts to choose from, yet many are lacking in quality, and it's easy to get burned. Iliterally spent days researching brushes. Ideally, an artist should, get the best of everything, but in the real world that's not always possible. So I try to secure the best my budget allows,it's challenging at times, yet I know for sure these brushes are a good buy. There are threeother sets to choose from as well, When I become a famous painter, I'll buy the expensivebrushes, or not. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Now I'm an Fine Art student
Now I'm an Fine Art student. I know how frustrating it is when you can only afford the cheap brushes that come in a pack of 5. And then your heart breaks a little when you watch them fall apart on your canvas. However you will not shed a tear with these. I like detail work and drool over variety. These kept its bristle together while I painted with acrylic paint. They held a good amount of paint and the stokes were smooth. When they come in I highly recommend you give them a good washing with brush cleaner just to get the bristles nice, clean, and flexible. Overall, very good performance and quality for the price. I am very satisfied.

Great Brushes -- and American made, too!
I purchased these on the 24th as a Lightning Deal. They arrived quickly -- yesterday, just 2 days later. (Thank you, Prime!) I am a miniaturist -- I make and create dollhouses, scenes, etc. in 1" to 1' scale, so a variety of correctly-sized brushes are important to me. Paint flows on smoothly, the bristles don't fall out, and the handles are comfortable. I love these! In fact, I am going to buy another set from AIT Products. And they're made in the USA. The Lightning Deal price was under $18, but even at the regular sale price of about $22, I believe they are a bargain.

Great set of brushes for that price. Good quality !
I give 4 stars just for one reason... but i should give it 5 for the brushes, they are great !I give it 4 because since I order the brushes I started to receive emails from the seller, which I appreciate, but, since I order till I receive it, I got 3 emails; and after I receive it, o don't know how many. It's nice that the seller is a caring and motivated seller, but a bit to much...
