This is one of the few sleep masks that does not connect using velcro - thank goodness! Those velcro ones just do not work, don’t care how much you love velcro! And don't get me started on how much hair I've yanked out because it got caught in the velcro and wouldn't disengage! So I guess if you’re bald, then velcro closures are for you. For the rest of us, there's THIS lovely mask with the adjustable bar closure. The eye indentions make it one of the most comfortable I've owned (trust me, I’m an aficionado when it comes to sleep masks). I have literally overslept because this mask fits so well it lets in absolutely ZERO light, while still being comfortable. Just to let you know how much I love this mask - when mine was suddenly lost, I had to go back to something else. I missed it so much, I ordered a replacement within days. Now I just saw that it comes in purple, and I want another one. Yeah, I really love this mask.

I am loving these and have slept great since I got them. I've tried cheap eye "pillows" and other clothing items in an attempt to block out the light. I finally found these. They are super comfy, soft, and have enough room where you could actually open your eyes inside, it does not push on any portion of your eyelid. There is a small sliver area near my cheekbones where a sliver of light can slip through but with your eyes closed you do not notice. I imagine part of it will be how tight you have them adjusted and the structure of your facial features. They did have that "factory smell" at first so plan on giving them a quick wash and time to dry before wearing.

I have right now on my bed 6 different brands of masks, including Manta sleep. This one is the best of them all. It's soft and cushioned, while somehow not being hot. How they did that I don't know, but it's impressive because other full masks I have tend to make my face hot and sweaty if I wear them all night. The eye spaces are very well placed and when I've got the mask on I can fully open my eyes without any trouble, and they're NO light peeking around the nose. I put it on and looked around, had my boyfriend shine lights around me and nothing. This thing is so impressively blackout! I'm a side sleeper and I toss and turn, so the fact that no matter how much I move no light sneaks in is so incredibly impressive to me. This sleep mask is very soft, functional and well thought out. The cushioning around the eyes makes it so that you can open your eyes without your eyes or lashes feeling like they're being held down. The cushioning also fits to the contours of your face so that light does not leak in. I bought the grey/silver version and it blocks out the light almost completely but by the time I close me eyes to sleep, I cannot sense any light coming through at all. This mask also has an adjustable elastic band so that you can adjust it to the right size. I'm using this at home but I'm going to be packing this into my carry-on bag to use on my next long distance flight.

I was worried my eyes or face would get too sweaty but that hasnt happened at all. Very comfortable and I am a stomach sleeper so my face is constantly smashed into a pillow and these dont move off my eyes at all. No light hits my eyeballs at all and that's huge because I'm a nightshift nurse! I sleep during the day and I dont have black out curtains. I have woken up several times thinking it was freaking night time while I was wearing these. There is a perfect amount of room.under the eye pads so I can open my eyes while wearing them. Thank God for these !!!! I DONT have to buy the blackout curtains now.

I was having an issue with dry eye from my CPAP machine, so was looking for a comfortable, snug-fitting sleep mask to protect my eyes while I sleep--this mask is fantastic! well made, comfortable, nice wide adjustable elastic strap, soft and nice snug fit which does the job very well (another brand I tried did not really work out - this one did). Definitely recommend!

These are ok. But move out of place when I sleep. It might just be me.
