These are the “lightbulbs” but LED’s so not actual bulbs...very bright!!! We love ours...

Are these DOT approved

If you have a DOT # on your vehicle then I would say yes, even if you dont I still say yes. These lights work and I might add very bright. It is my understanding given the fact that they are lights, and that they work, and are on doing what lights are supposed to do, illuminate the vehicle license plate, the State or local police would not have any reason to pull you over.
