Worth Paying a Bit More for Something That Actually Works
After wasting time with a cheaper Ethernet adapter that was faulty and didn't work straight out of the box, I decided to buy the TP-Link UE210 instead. I'm glad I did. This one worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in. No fuss, no troubleshooting, and no messing about with settings. It was recognised immediately and provided a stable, reliable network connection. The build quality feels good, and it's exactly what you'd expect from TP-Link. Sometimes it's worth spending a little extra to avoid the headaches that come with cheaper alternatives. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Handy little splitter — makes my network setup much easier
I picked up the TP‑Link EH210 because I needed a simple way to split a connection in my setup, and it’s been great so far. It’s genuinely plug‑and‑play — no messing around, no configuration, just connect it and it works. The build feels solid, the USB power option is convenient, and it handles gigabit speeds without any slowdown. I mainly use it to tidy up my network layout so I don’t have cables running everywhere, and it’s made things a lot cleaner and easier to manage. If you need a straightforward 1‑to‑2 splitter that just works, this one has been a really useful little addition for me.

Great switch
Fits perfectly in the TV unit to hide it from view, 8 switches which enables multiple devices to be connected at once preventing constantly changing cables. Easy set up; feed one cable from the router to switch and then switch to the devices. Cheap price compared to some otherwise and works perfectly. Would recommend.

Very slim, energy efficient little switch
I originally kitted the house out with full Netgear PoE switches, such as 724s and 108s, and they ran the house beautifully for 5+ years. However, two 8-port switches and one 24-port non-green switches use about 60 watts, and even more if using PoE for cameras etc. That's the equivalent of leaving a lightbulb on day and night, which adds up over 5+ years. It adds double now that our energy utilities are scalping us on bills. So, I switched to these low-power switches. They basically just went in as drop-in replacements. No configuration required. Their ports auto-configured and everything just carried on working. I've gone from 60+Watts to about 8 watts. I've also put one of the switches on a timer because there's never anyone in one of the rooms from 11pm to 8am. I tried that with the older switches and they tended to get their knickers in a twist if you did it too often. So, on average over 24 hours the networking kit is now about 6-8 Watts instead of 50+Watts. So, doing the maths... ~50 Watts saved per hour, for 24 hours for 365 days a year is 50x24x365 = 438kWh per year. At 50p per kWh, that's ÂŁ219 saved over the year, more than paying for the new kit in just 4 months in fact. In the 5 years I expect to run it, that's almost a grand if the price per kWh doesn't drop!!!! Very easy to install, very quick, very sleek and smart, and works flawlessly while saving a lot of money.

Perfectly dependable
I swear by these. They are very dependable and can be attached to a stouter to extend ports. They work very well and there’s no setup involved at all. They a work straight out of the box and don’t heat up with extended use and so can be hidden in closed spaces.

Have to change the power plug?
Maybe I haven't been living in Europe long enough but when ordering for German delivery on the .de website I do not expect tp receive the product with a UK power plug. Will change it myself but disappointed. :-(

- Plug‑and‑Play: sofort einsatzbereit, keine Grundkonfiguration nötig. - Robustes Metallgehäuse für zuverlässigen, professionellen Betrieb. - Easy‑Smart‑Funktionen: QoS und IGMP‑Snooping für saubere Streams. - Zentrales Management über Web‑Oberfläche und Easy‑Smart‑Configuration‑Utility. - Energieeffiziente „Green IT“ reduziert den Verbrauch. Hinweise: - „Easy Smart“ = leichtgewichtiges Management; kein voll gemanagter Enterprise‑Switch. - Für komplexere Setups den Funktionsumfang/Kompatibilität beim Hersteller prüfen. Fazit des Barden: - Erwartung erfüllt? Ja — stabiler Gigabit‑Verteiler mit sinnvollen Smart‑Extras. - Bedienung? Sehr einfach — läuft out‑of‑the‑box, Feintuning per UI/Utility. - Empfehlung? Klar — ideal fürs Heimnetz, NAS/Media und kleine Büros. - Preis‑Leistung? Stark. Kurz & knapp (TL;DR): Solider 5‑Port‑Gigabit‑Switch im Metallgehäuse mit Plug‑and‑Play, QoS und IGMP‑Snooping. Lässt sich zentral verwalten und arbeitet energieeffizient — eine zuverlässige, unaufgeregte Drehscheibe fürs Heimnetz.

Good start for home networking.
TP-Link quality at a great price. My next switch will have to be a 2.5G one though so i can play with home storage.
