Energizer Industrial 9 Volt Batteries, Alkaline 9v Battery (12 Count)

I use these batteries in some vintage Cetec Vega wireless microphones that use 9V’s and are notorious for being battery hogs. Each time I use these microphones, they’re on for at least three hours at a time. The Energizer Industrial batteries still read slightly above 8.5V on a multimeter even after three or more sessions (about 9 hours of use). In other words, these things last forever and are about the best options on the market for live use. These batteries are also more of a normal size and fit these microphones pretty well, too. I used to use Procells, but when those started getting sketchy in terms of reliability, I switched over to these Energizer Industrial batteries. The Energizers have never leaked, and I’ve never had a dud. In short, I highly recommend these. For what it’s worth, the AA and AAA cells are also fantastic, too.

Great value, quick shipping, 2018 date code. Excessive Amazon packaging-filler andway-over-sized shipping box size for such a small shipment. Great, name brand, 9 volt Alkaline battery choice for residential smoke detectors. Each cell is dated for use by 2018, which would be BETTER if it was 2020...(4-5 years shelf life BACK from 2018 code puts manufacturing date of these cells around 2012-13). Wish the date code was displayed on the website before purchase.... . On the birighter side...Battery no-load tested 9 Volt cells each at 9.0 to 9.15 volts on all 12 batteries. 2nd test using parallel resistor load read 8.8 to 9.0 Volts DC - ( Fluke meter) all 12 batteries; A-OK. Have now installed in 6 residential smoke detectors with no initial issues or thermal voltage drops (heat or cold weather voltage changes with related false alarms). Good product at a good price. Note: Protective plastic-top (easy to remove) insulator cap is installed on each and every battery,to prevent shorting if cells contact top posts during storage. Great to see the Energizer (manufacturer) bulk-pack these batteries within a single, plain, easy-to-recycle, single wall cardboard dispenser box; Amazon shipping however, needs to do the same...a 2" x 3" x 6" box placed into a 12" x 12" x12" shipping carton with filler, is an overkill and environmentally questionable. These are the same batteries I was going to buy in the store but cost less because they came in bulk packaging. That actually worked better for me, since I needed a bunch to replace them in smoke detectors. It's a lot less effort and trash getting them this way.

I am using these in a continuously running ScatMat in my home to keep a kitten away from an exit door; the instructions for the power pack of the ScatMat state the unit should run up to six months on one 9 volt battery. As these batteries have just arrived today, I have written the date in permanent marker on the battery and will update later as to how long the batteries last over time in 24/7 usage. Important Note: This listing states "Energizer EN22 Zinc-Manganese Dioxide General Purpose Battery EN22 922" - I have no idea what the exact difference is between these and a regular alkaline or lithium type battery but they are powering my ScatMat units just fine. You may want to check the manual of what application these batteries will be used to to make sure they will not negatively affect the performance of your item. In general, I like that these are Energizer brand - a solid reputation! I also like that my per battery cost was much, much lower than bargain brand batteries which in the long run seems to be the deciding factor in which batteries to buy.

Name brand batteries are mostly all the same. This is a good battery at a good price.

These batteries last a long time, and the price is good. (Although I'll mention that I'm not as convinced of the most recent batch.. still better than most, but maybe not as great as I've experienced on previous purchases) I use them in my guitar and these seem to last the best. I don't have to change them every two weeks! I gave a 5-star for "presentation", but I don't even know what that means. It's a simple box of batteries! What more could I want? Please don't junk it up with a bunch of fancy and environmentally horrible plastic packaging!

Desafortunadamente 2 Baterias del paquete no servían. No lo sabía hasta que las vas utilizando. Hoy me di cuenta que un par del paquete no funcionaban. Prueben todas al momento que les llegan.

Good battery, good price. I use them in my smoke alarms and when I take them out to change them, I test them. After a year in the smoke detector the batteries retain 80% or more charge so I can use them in toys and such.
