Worked well for a Halloween costume
A black tuxedo cat was my son's Halloween costume this year. He's 10, but we just got a tuxedo kitten, so that's what he wanted to be. We paired the kitty ears and tail with a stick-on nose and whiskers, some black pants, a t-shirt with a printed tuxedo front, and he was set! The ears felt a little tight on his head to me, but he never complained and he wore them all evening, which is a first for him. He usually hates stuff on his head and removes it immediately. So this was definitely a win.I like that the elastic (which is clear and thin, but very strong) goes around the back of his head and under his hair, not under his chin. They stayed on and stayed in place and he looked very cute. The ears are furry, but the inside of the ears are kind of molded plastic. If dressing as a cat is your thing, I'm not sure these would be the ones you want, because the inside does look a little ... plastic, but for a kid's costume, they were perfect.

Cute Coustume Ears
Was perfect for an adult cat costume. I love how the ears are not attched to a a head bandand instead is attached with a sort of strechy see through fishing line so it hides underyour hair, so cute! The back of the ears are furry while the front is plastic that resemblesreal cat ears, perfect!only bad thing s that the ears are kind of set close together and can resemble more of amouse instead of cat ears if you have a larger head. The tail is perfect, goes on with through a belt loop or a strong safty pin

misleading picture
The picture is doctored - the ears do NOT have pink inside & are not furry in the front. they are flimsy black plastic with a patch of mangy fur glued to the back. The tail is about half as long as in the picture and looks like a turd hanging down.*UPDATED REVIEW - vendor kindly refunded a portion of the purchase price, and stated that they are discontinuing this particular item & looking for a better quality one to sell. customer service was prompt & courteous.

Ruined Christmas
I wanted to have the perfect grumpy cat costume for the Halloween themed X-mas party and the ears here looked perfect. But I was stunned to find out that the ears attach via a flimsy plastic elastic string. Now, the model in the picture is a total babe. So it's hard to imagine she would tolerate having this string wrap around her face giving her the illusion of a double chin.I had the last minute idea to crazy glue the ears to some barrettes. Simple, right? Well not if you're not used to using barrettes all the time. I glued them on the wrong way and they just flopped down on my head. I tried to remove and re-glue them, but the flimsy plastic base just tore off the bottom of the ears. GARBAGE! Disaster! All was not lost... or so I thought. My makeup was AWESMAZING. The added whiskers latexed to my face put to shame the girl who comes up when you google image search for "grumpy cat makeup." I had assumed that this would put me on the top of the heap for raging costumeage. My main initial competition was The War on Christmas and a sexy nurse. But a dark horse, or rather cat, entered into the fray as ANOTHER GRUMPY CAT! AND HE HAD EARS! I was humiliated thanks to the flimsy plastic string attached to these ears.GRUMPY CAT FOR REAL

Worked GREAT for me!
LOVED this! It was perfect for what I wanted it - a Halloween run. The ears were awesome and look so cute on. Just carefully put the plastic string on your head like a headband. They are big but really cute. I had to hook the tail on an elastic belt and wrap it around a couple times so it didn't flop too much. For the money it was well worth it.

Ears need to be glued onto a headband.
Cute costume for the price. My only complaint was that the ears were held on by a thin plastic string. It is too tight for most adult heads. The ears look good and have fake fur on them. I glued the ears onto a black headband and they worked great.

Comfortable and look great
I was hesitant at first when I saw the cat ears since they're not connected to a headband, but rather to a clear plastic stretchy string. However, when you put them on they look great and are comfortable to wear. The tail is velcro so can easily attach to a belt loop. I'm very happy with my purchase.

If only there were more details about this product...
I've been dreaming about a pair of cat ears since... Ok, maybe i don't know the exact moment when this fantasy occured to me, but it sure was a long time ago. Anyway, i've found this great (so is seemed) accessory set, and i was very excited about it. However, when i opened my package, there were some rather disappointing surprises.First of all, the cat ears were quite large. And when i put them on, i noticed that i looked like a bunny, or like mickey mouse, but certainly not like a cat. If only i had known their length before i purchased them, i wouldn't have been so disappointed now.Second of all, the fabric was another thing that bothered me. I assumed that they were entirely made of faux fur, but the front part of the cat ears was plastic.I am really disappointed. I expected a completely different set of accesories. I gave this product 2 stars because the tail was ok, although kind of short.Still, you can't be a cat without cat ears, but with a tail.
