Rohrer & Klingnerbottled fountain pen ink - Old Golden Green (50mL)

This has got to be the most beautiful ink ever. I had really wanted their “Emma” kind, but it was nowhere to be found, so since this appeared to be the same color, I ordered this one. The other one was supposed to be waterproof, this one is not. But I love it anyways. I used it right away with my new glass dip pen and it performs just lovely. Writing calligraphy and drawing a pen and ink tree was equally satisfying and turned out really nice. I have their black ink in waterproof and it is great in a fountain pen. I believe the green one is safe for fountain pens as well. They make a lovely line of high quality inks and I am eager to try the sepia one next.

This Golden Green ink has shades of olive. If you have bought this ink it’s because , let’s face it, you are a connoisseur of color. I have about forty different inks for my pens and it never gets old. Fountain pen ink is art in itself. Maybe if we were all buying ink there would be more happiness . This color is stately, majestic, unique, and does not wash out against the back round of plain white writing paper. It manages to hold its own in a slightly subdued but elegant way. Highly recommended. Great for notes or letters. Tell someone you love them or appreciate what they do with a color that doesn’t grow on trees but oddly enough should.

I have the Alt-Goldgrun ink and I really like it a lot. It is a nice old world looking ink. It looks very nice on my Ivy stationary. I have some very expensive ink and this is one of the few that gets remarks from people, so far all good. It's in about three of my pens right now, so yeah I kinda like it a lot. Good flow and doesn't feather or bleed so far at all. It does have some nice subtle shading too. It doesn't hurt your eyes and it shows up well on paper. Hope this helps.

I love the color and shading in this ink. It's a medium-dry ink that works great in my Noodler Ahab, Waterman Stalwart, and Monteverde's, as well as most others, but not so well in any of my Pilots which seem to want a slightly wetter ink. Other than the Pilots, the ink behaves well and has a high degree of shade. On cheaper paper it shows up as a lighter color but on Japanese and European papers (Rhodia, Tomoe River) it displays rich and varied shading and a range of intensities, from deep olive to light yellow-green. There is no sheen and no shimmer; with thicker nibs it has a rich matte quality. Little to no water resistance. It cleans easily from the nibs as well.

I write in my bible journal with this. I wanted a green ink for "ordinary time". This is one of my favorite inks. It is not a permanent ink, so it will run if water gets on your page. I was using a Stayology notebook, available on Amazon. I used a fine nib, and the shading is still beautiful.

I love this ink. It's such a neat color. I use it to color grass and foliage and dragons. It's not waterproof but I notice it smears less than other inks when I try to blend it out with a water brush. If you mix it with organics studio nitrogen you get a really pretty teal color. (I've dubbed it Nitrogrun) so it has multiple uses!

I absolutely adore this ink, it's a beautiful and unique color... Plus, it behaves really nice... I need to try it in more pens, but for now I am really happy with it in my Kaweco Brass Sport with a medium nib.

La tienta es maravillosa, es mi nueva tinta favorita pero la enviaron sin caja y la tapa de metal esta muy golpeada se alcanzo a filtrar tinta. no sirve que sea la mejor si el se riega el contenido.

Una stilografica un pennino M o superiore e si possono scoprire tutte le sfumature dorate di questo bellissimo inchiostro dal colore unico .Ottimo

Das ist meine erst R+K-Tinte und gleich ein Volltreffer. Ich hatte dieses Goldgrün in einem YT-Clip gesehen und war sofort hin und weg vom Shading und Farbton. Das ist das derzeit schönste und wärmste und freundlichste Grün, das ich kenne. Ich hatte es zuerst in einem KaWeCo mit einer feinen Feder versucht - ging schief. Diese Tinte braucht unbedingt eine M-Feder, sonst ist die Pigmentierung zu schwach und die Schrift kaum zu lesen. Mit der M-Feder in meinem Diplomat-Aero kommt sie super zur Geltung auf dem Tomoe-River-Papier, das ich benutze. Diese Tinte gehört ab sofort zu meinen Standardtinten.

Excellent colour, cool bottle and ink flow is smooth!
