Samson AirLine Micro Earset System

I am a Jazzercise instructor and so was my mom before me; both of us used/use this mic. The sound quality is very good, even in large spaces like gyms. It will sound echoey in such a space of course, but compared to other mics, this one sounds good.I would recommend covering the actual body of the mic as sweat enters it if not protected, causing static. I use bandage wrap and waterproof tape (like from Nexcare) and very rarely have any sort of static problems. Neither mom or I found the provided cover for the body of the mic very useful.I think I went for about a year and a half before I had to have it serviced (the cords in the neck of the mic were a little worn) and I was using it once (during school months) to five times (during school breaks) a week.I would definitely recommend this mic. One of the key things to note though is the importance of covering up the body of the mic. That should take care of 99% of static caused by sweat.

I got tired of dealing with flimsy mics while teaching cardio classes, so I bought this for myself. It's amazing. It stays on my head and WORKS.

Without this headset I would not feel as comfortable teaching NIA Dance on ZOOM. It is so much more comfortable than I thought it would be. I hardly notice I have it on....and I am moving a LOT during class. My only criticism would be that either it eats up battery power quickly....and/or it is hard to distinguish whether you have turned it on or off. The red light that comes on seems to be the same either way. I can only test it when online with students.Otherwise, I recommend it highly!

Great sound, but why will it work and then all i hear is static noise! The other night i had to turn it off and couldnt get the static to stop :( so I taught back to back classes mic-less. Can anyone help??

I bought one of these microphones many years ago and love it. So, I decided to buy another one even though the first one still works great. Upon getting the new microphone I found that they changed the design, and it no longer had a MUTE switch on the microphone. For me that was one of the reasons I bought it to begin with so that I could mute the microphone at various times during the performance. I tried to contact the company but never received a response. So now I have a microphone sitting there that I can't use. Very disappointing with mic and their lack of support.

Great for aerobics but I'm not to impressed with the on/off button inside the battery compartment. The cover piece for the battery may end up breaking.
