This armrest has been very helpful for my work-from-home setup. I work long 12+ hour days and type a lot, so my arm sometimes needs extra support throughout the day. This gives my elbow and forearm a more comfortable place to rest and helps reduce strain when I am at my desk for extended periods. The clamp-on design is convenient, and I like that it does not require a permanent change to my desk. It is especially useful when I need extra support during longer typing sessions. Overall, this has been a practical addition to my workspace and makes long workdays more comfortable.

Positive - Was looking to finding something to help with a large chair I purchased- that had arms extended to wide for my comfort - saw this and decided to purchase two - sure enough - this works so awesome! The cups that your elbow/arm sits in is really comfortable - and it does hold your complete arm weight in my case. Great support and movement is quite flexible- you can have the longer bar arms extended in multiple ways to allow your personal satisfaction. I did buy an additional one making three - so I would say I am a happy camper- Negative - One of the shipments I got was open in the main part- and the cup first bar would just slide left and right (not locked down to well) - getting a replacement did solve this issue - so out of the four I got only one was an issue- and that would make three since I plan on returning the open box - Very happy with this purchase - it is a good deal and boy the comfort of this is great - thanks VIVO

I've got an L-Shaped desk. My chair's arm rest wouldn't go up quite high enough to support my mouse arm. Annoying. I tried pads on my arm rest, raising my chair, and several other things that didn't work. I saw these and thought "why not?" so I ordered them. I only need one considering the shape of my desk but dang, it's nice. I got it set to the height that's comfortable and it provides excellent support and mobility for my arm. My only wish is that once I set the height, I could lock it in somehow. If I bump it, I have to reset it. Resetting isn't a huge drawback, but it's a minor annoyance. Still worth it for the comfort and ease-of-use though. My arm can ride in it whether mousing or using the keyboard. I'm sure glad I took a chance on it.

I have been working from a home office for 10 years, and finally after developing a lot of back and hip pain, I switched to a saddle chair instead of the "comfortable" office chairs that I had been using. I also bought an electric standing desk--I wish that I had made these changes years ago, because I feel so much better at the end of the day. However, when you start using a saddle chair and/or a standing desk, you quickly realize that there is no place for your elbows. These little contraptions solve that problem. They can withstand a good amount of downward pressure (note that the desk is more likely to break than these arm rests- I think if they were used on a flimsy chipboard desk, they might break the desktop). I use them when sitting and using the keyboard and mouse- they glide around so I can swing my elbows as needed while still resting them. When used in standing desk mode, they also give good support to my elbows while allowing me to fidget around. I have tried a lot of contraptions for ergonomic office support over the years, and these are high on the list of 'keepers' -I don't expect to work without these going forward.

This cheap but wonderful contraption is a must for those working remotely (for arm support). You need this especially if your chair has no arms (if you’re like me who can’t afford an ergonomic chair). It’s made to swivel effortlessly so it doesn’t impede natural movement when typing or operating mouse. I should’ve made this review a while ago but better late than never.

It is well thought, and in someway functional; however, the fact that it moves around, which up to certain point is an advantage, it can become a minus too. It happens that one has to find the way to accommodate the forearm every time one sits. There should be a way to leave it fix at each angle that works for you, but it only gets fixed on the height of the pads. And for some reason it raises itself up, I don't understand why. So, it has to be re adjusted one level down, in my case. It is well made and sturdy. They just need to add lock to live it fixed horizontally.

They allow my shoulders to remain neutral through long work days which decreases my pain!! Love it

I spend a lot of time at my computer every day, up to 10+ hours a day some days without much of a break, I've been doing this almost 8 years now, and several months ago, I started having some major problems with my shoulder, that after a couple of weeks became apparent that it was only going to keep getting worse, and by the time I talked to my friend about it, I was starting to feel major fatigue after just 3 hours and was unable to get any work done. She suggested I get this armrest. I was a little put off by the price, but she assured me after an hour of research this was going to be the best one for the price. Had I known how the pain would disappear instantly, I'd happily paid 4 times what I did for it. I haven't had a minutes worth of worry out of my shoulder since installing it (VERY EASY INSTALL!), and in the last few weeks I've even been able to play tug of war with my very excitable Catahoula mix puppy (26 lbs at 4 months!) and swing her around like a kettlebell with no pain whatsover! I'd like to add that I thought it might get in the way of things, or that I'd bump into it, or any number of other issues, but that has not been a problem. It folds up very easily to lie next to the table, quietly out of the way. I'm thinking of getting another for the other arm now. Lifesaver, definitely recommend!

I’ve used these for 8-16 hours every day for nearly a year. They look no worse for wear and I expect to get another few years - maybe more! - from them. They were very quick to install and accommodate my weight with no problems (6’, 200 lbs / 184cm, 91kg). I removed my arm rests from my chair to use these instead. I found you’ll want to position them in front of where your elbows naturally fall. When I installed these too far outside, it felt like my elbows wanted to slide away from me, which caused discomfort. I’ll continue to use these but I have wondered if something non-moving and with better padding would be more comfortable. I’m not willing to spend that $80/arm yet though!

C’était la deuxième fois que j’achetais ce produit, mais cette fois-ci c’était pour une amie qui fait le même métier que moi. Nous travaillons en manucure, donc nous avons constamment un bras très sollicité pour tenir la main de la cliente, stabiliser les doigts, limer et travailler avec précision pendant de longues heures. Avec le temps, cela peut devenir très exigeant pour l’épaule. Pour moi, ce support a vraiment fait une énorme différence. Honnêtement, je crois sincèrement que si je n’avais pas trouvé ce produit, je ne serais peut-être plus capable de faire mon métier aujourd’hui. Il aide à mieux répartir le poids, améliore la posture et réduit beaucoup la tension sur l’épaule et le bras. Même s’il est souvent présenté pour un usage de bureau, je peux dire qu’il est assez solide pour un usage professionnel plus exigeant. J’y mets beaucoup de poids puisque je m’en sers en travaillant sur les mains de mes clientes, et il reste stable, robuste et fiable. Il s’ajuste bien en hauteur et, une fois bien positionné, il suit bien les mouvements. On s’y habitue très vite. C’est vraiment un de mes produits préférés, et je le recommande fortement à toute personne qui veut prévenir des douleurs ou trouver une solution quand son travail commence à devenir plus difficile physiquement.

Easy to put together and very comfortable. Very sturdy and so far the best I found.
