I needed a light flash defuser for an outing I am going on. One that would fit easly in my small camera bag. And this is perfect. And did a good job when I tested it at home. With one little flaw.... It dang near put my eye out when I removed it from the package. I opened the pouch. And it just exploded And worse... I don't know how to refold it with out breaking it! And now dos not fit inside my bag. Well least it did not add any more weight to the bag. Just wished it wasn't so springy...

Only have a built-in flash? No problem. This diffuser is simple, cheap, and works perfectly. It can also direct the angle of the light. Sample picture taken using Canon 70D+Tamron 18-270+macro filter+built-in flash+this diffuser

This diffuser fits perfectly on my Olympus 90mm macro which has a diameter of 2 3/4". Any lens diameter less than that will work of course but the diffuser will not stay in place very well. It did fit on a 3" diameter lens hood but quite snug. At least that's the fit on the piece I received which might vary between samples. There's quite a bit of light loss from the flash as you might expect - 2-3 stops. So for use on cameras with a built in flash, I'd recommend boosting your ISO to at least ISO 400. It does a very good job of diffusing the light. Remember that the closer you get to your subject the softer the light will be. Tilt the diffuser forward for subjects 10" or closer to the front of the lens for the best results. Not as good as a dedicated macro flash diffuser like the AKdiffuser but for the price it's hard to beat. Works well for small pet portraits also.

Shoddy construction, item arrived ripped. The diffuser comes in a pouch, so it can be folded for storage. However, it did not fit on my lens Zeiss Touit 50mm) at all, the hole is way too wide so it drops and it's not stable at all. Wanted to buy a cheap option, guess in this case it wasn't worth it. Do not recommend.

I was really hoping that this diffuser would work for me but unfortunately it is more trouble than it’s worth. I tried using it for macro photography however, I’m constantly struggling to hold it in place and it rotates whenever I rotate the lens. If I didn’t hold it and I took a shot, I would then realize that it rotated and it resulted in the photo not getting diffused. For really close up shots when I’m near flowers or shrubs, it would twist if it came in contact with the foliage. I decided to go with a diffuser that straps into my flash to avoid the hassle. Just to be clear, the product does provide diffusion and the photos are beautiful when it does. If you’re ok with holding onto it constantly then it’s not a bad product especially because of the price.

One downside is that it is TIGHT on my canon rf100mm macro. Other than that, cheap, simple, does its job well. Photo was taken using diffuser.

This is a very simple, easy to use diffuser that is very effective at softening the light of my flash during macro photography. It folds up to a small, flat circle that I can put in my back pocket and takes up very little room in my camera bag.

Hole too small for my Canon RF 100mm macro lens diameter. Had to cut the seamed opening then it was too floppy. Will work in a pinch on a non windy day. Will keep looking. No adjustment capability cheap quality
