Zilla Reptile Terrarium Terraced Dish, Small (Colors Vary)

This dish is not perfect for my tortoises. However, so far this is the best dish I have found on the market to use as a worm feeder. Very few worms escape, and 7 out of my 12 tortoises have been able to eat their worms out of these dishes. Two of my 4 adults have figured out how to eat their worms out of the large dishes, even though it is a little awkward for them. The other 2 still haven't figured out how to eat the worms. The 2 medium sized tortoises use the large dishes every day. However, they have to get inside the dish to eat. Therefore, this requires strict supervision on my part. Since tortoises usually poop and pee while they eat, I have to clean out the dish every time they eat. Cleanliness is the best prevention and all of my tortoises are very healthy. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it. I use a different brand for their water dishes, which they seem to really enjoy.

Very crappy paint job. Many bubbles and pockets for bacteria to get trapped in. Also looks like dog throw up, not brown like the picture. I returned this and got ZooMed brand dishes and they are much better. These bowls also came packed by someone who did not care. Similar to throwing a hot dog down the holland tunnel. One piece was chipped because of it and because there was an obvious shortage of bubble wrap at the time. I would give it a zero star but that is not an option.

My bearded dragon loves his new water bowl! It is big enough for him to actually get into the bowl and soak up some water when he is shedding. You do have to make sure that when you clean it you use some kind of scrub brush with smaller bristles to get into all of the small notches and divets that are in the bowl. It is a lot heavier than I expected (which is fine with me) so it doesnt move or tip over when he climbs on it. The only thing that I don't particularly care for (but is tolerable) is the yellow mustard color! It doesn't look much like a natural rock (and nothing like the pictured product)!

This water dish loses its seal, loses its color, and eventually leaks. I cannot recommend to anyone. Therefore I have removed my previous positive review.

This bowl is the perfect size and is nice & heavyweight. I loved it for around half a year, but then the paint started chipping off, so I had to retire it. I'm sure they're smart enough to use non toxic paint, but still - it can't be good for animals to ingest. Also, it's not as easy to clean as the ad indicates. There are a lot of little pits & crevices that make gunk hard to get to. I'm going to try the Zoo Med Repti Ramp next - it seems like they tend to have better quality products than Zilla.

One of the more realistic dishes I have seen, but why don't any of the product descriptions have actual dimensions listed. From Zillas site: Terraced Dish 9.1" x 8.4" x 2.4" Up close, it looks painted and you can see brush strokes which may not be visible in Amazon photo, but I still like the look. I had seen these in stores before making my purchase and really liked the dish. The one I actually received is yellow and not very similar to what I had seen prior, so I just felt buyers should be aware what is actually received can vary. I know the dimensions are listed, but it is huge as far as dishes are concerned.

I bought this for my baby Sulcata. I wanted something shallow enough for him to not drown, but deep enough for him to wade in if he felt like it. This is perfect.

Glad I read the reviews, works perfect on a 15 gallon tank for my 2 fire toads, very quality made
