If trying to use this with an iPad, it does not supply to correct amount of power to use the device

This item did not work for the intended purpose as it does not transfer power to the USB port. I had to buy a certified Apple unit to get this function. The Apple supply device is an intelligent unit that can be updated.

My iPad keeps telling me the device I was connecting required too much power although I was powering the connector through the lightning port and in one case I was simply trying to connect a memory stick. I was told by a local shop assistant that IOS will check if devices are not made by apple and will not work in that case. Sounds plausible.

This either didn’t work or did not work for adding extra power, so I returned.

It did what I needed, allowed me to load files from another device onto an iPad.

I needed the adaptor to connect special USB keyboard. Unfortunately it doesn't work. I saids the accessory uses to much power. It's working fine with original adaptor.

Excellent product, perfect for transferring photos from the camera to our phone or iPad. Nice and compact so perfect for holidays and travelling. I always used to run out of memory space so it’s perfect for me!

Works perfectly with my iPhone. Well worth the money.
